 Such a fun versatile sketch for us this round at Try A Sketch on Tuesday #678! I went all organic and botanical in my response to this sketch - all those hard shapes make me just want to break through the lines, lol. To that end, I put together this card from the retired Splendid Thoughts suite - I still can't get enough of the flowing lines and soft colors! I set up a background from the Splendid Day DSP, this time using one of the NON-metallic back sides for a softer look. I added a background shape over this as well, to set off my partially colored stems, and then floated the sentiment below as the sketch suggests. I'm so happy with the peaceful wishes this card conveys - who couldn't use a hug now and then? I'm having an extra focus on Christmas this year! Instead of a Fall/Thanksgiving class (we'll hit that in our next Pumpkin Club!) I'm adding an extra Christmas card class so I have room to cover the many gorgeous and amazing Holiday offerings we have this year! Christmas Cards Part 2 will feature 6 cards with envelopes, all from the newly launched Holiday Mini Catalog, or the latest Online Exclusives!
