Oo, I love this blocked out sketch at Try a Sketch on Tuesday #702! Sketches like this are the perfect way to play with paper, lol, and I got to choose a few likely patterns of my Autumn Opulence DSP pack again! I also chose a few of the diecut shapes, but I don't care for the 1/4" bright white border on them (so weird when there's so much Vanilla on the main sheets!) so I fussy cut them all down a little, too. I pulled in this Thanksgiving sentiment from the super cute Thanks & Giving set - I had meant to get more of the stamp set onto this card, but the shapes weren't quite right, lol. Next time! Thanks & Giving Stamp Set; Autumn Opulence DSP; Very Vanilla & Peaceful Pine CS: Early Espresso Ink; Pressed Flower Motifs; #TSOT702.

Heather, what a lovely Thanksgiving card. The pattern papers you chose are perfect for your fall theme! I agree, that those wide white borders around die cuts are annoying, and frequently trim them, too. Thank you for sharing your card and creativity with us at TSOT!! -Donna

Such a fabulous holiday card, Heather! You have a lovely selection of patterns and colors along with a great sketch interpretation. (I often trim away that excess white edge, too.) Thank you for sharing at TSOT.
