Whew - I can JUST slip in to the August NBUS #77 challenge! AND, I have a stack of stuff still from my Holiday Catty and Online Exclusive Pre-Order to show off! Today i am super excited to start playing with the set Stay Warm, from the catty. No sentiments, normally a no-go for me, but all these knitted goodies! I've been wanting a good sweater set (and hat, socks and gloves, too, lol) for a while now. What intrigued me about this one is that it's set up to be reversible, so you can do a solid fill-in on each item. Also not something I've played with a lot - works awesome on this set! For the sentiment, I bring you the Christmas Words Collage Hybrid Emboss Dies and Folder - SO many Christmas sentiments! This is also my first use of the new 2-tone cardstock - I wanted to try a sanding block on this one! This sheet of Old Olive is in the same Autumn To Remember scrapbooking kit I got a an age ago - I'm going to have to try more of the sanding! Stay Warm Stamp Set; Autumn to Remember DSP (retired); Basic White, Real Red & Old Olive 2 Tone CS; Real Red & Old Olive Inks; Christmas Word Collage Hybrid Embossing Folder & Dies; Stylish Shapes Dies; Sanding Block; Loose Snowflakes; #NBUS77. It's hard to think about wooly sweaters and mittens when the temps are in triple digits, but I do love the design and colors of your card, Heather! When Christmas time rolls around, this will look warm and toasty to the recipient! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
