I am SUPER excited that our theme this round at As You See It #367 is PURPLE! My favorite color! After getting lost in my head for a while on all the fun things I could do with PURPLE, lol, I pulled out my A Rainbow of Thanks stamp set! Three kinds of brushes, with paint strokes and bristle tips - what could go wrong? How can I stamp all these bitty things in time? So I got to work! First up, mounting everything on blocks ahead of time, including putting all three brushes on one block! Then I opened all the inks, and set all the stamps in front of their assigned color. I dug out embellies and my Oval Punch, and started the timer! Woo! It actually went great! I even had time to add a bit of coloring on the brushes with Blend Markers, and I love how it all came out! I was shocked that my time ended at 5 minutes 55 seconds - that's pretty darn good, even for speedy me! I can't wait to see YOUR speedy purple projects, too - meet you at the challenge! A Rainbow of Thanks Stamp Set; Basic White & Blackberry Bliss CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Blackberry Bliss, Fresh Freesia & Berry Burst Inks; Smoky Slate & Crumb Cake Blends Markers; Large Oval Punch (retired); Purple Fine Sparkle Gems; #AYSI367. Open Craft, Feb 28, 2 pm Hope you can make our monthly "open craft" day for February! Let's get together and work on our projects, while enjoying time together, and yummy snacks! I'll have a quick make-n-take for you, otherwise, bring your "UFOs" or new ventures, and have a great time in good company! All my tools will be available for your use, and consumables at cost. I'll be there with any help you might need! $5 studio fee per person! RSVP today so I have enough snacks!

The paint stripes is a great way to use all the different purples. Great choice of stamps for this speed challenge. :-)

This is so clever, Heather! What a great way to celebrate purple! We've just had our kitchen cupboards painted, so your card hits home, although we used shades of green, not purple.
