![]() Woo hoo! Time for another speed challenge at As You See It #343 - AND you have to use a punch! Somehow I got the idea in my head to make some kind of pretty paper by doing LOTS of punches, lol. My current favorite punch (because it took me SO long to get it, lol) is the Bough Punch - should be a snap, right? WRONG, lol. It did take longer to glue everything down than I had imagined it would, of course, and that was even with everything set up and ready! I knew I should have set up some self-adhesive sheets first! Anyway, I plugged away as fast as I could tacking them all down, trimming the edges, and popping on a quick sentiment from Simply Said. Even managed some Lemon Lime Twist Tinsel Gems! My final time was 9 minutes and 10 seconds - a close one for me! I can't wait to see YOUR punchy and speedy projects - meet you at the challenge! Simply Said Stamp Set; Basic White, Lemon Lime Twist & Granny Apple Green CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Bough & 1 1/2" Circle Punches; Lemon Lime Twist Tinsel Gems; #AYSI343. ![]() Sympathy & Scripture Card Class March 15! Great idea, Heather. I think that even if you'd used adhesive sheeting you'd have been stressing because how tricky is it sometimes to get a start on separating the layers?! I like the variety of greens you've used and I'm glad the timer let you fit in the tinsel gems because they're little corkers. :-)

I love the effect of this punched DSP design Heather - very clever! The mix of colours add interest and I agree with Jan, those last few seconds to add the tinsel gems was a great idea. A quicker glue solution without the need for adhesive sheets (I have a love/hate with those!) might have been to use a sponge or dauber and a silicone mat to add liquid glue to the reverse of the pieces - this is sometimes quicker than straight from the tube. Either way, I love it!!
