Oo, nice! Festive Friday #203 is all for Chinese New Year! Yay! I went a little kooky for this one, lol. I was having a little moment with my Celebratory Sips DSP, trying to decide if I should nab another pack before it's all gone {SOB} when I noticed the gorgeous red water-colored splotches on one of the sheets - what a perfect fresh and fruity drink color! That got the ball rolling - I focused first on red-black-gold, and made a cute drink layout. Oh it wants a good luck sentiment - hey, there's a pretty one in Helping Me Grow - check! Hm, needs a little more gold, how about some sequins! Lol, I'm not sure this qualifies as a Chinese New Year card, but it sure was fun! Cheers & Sips Stamp Set & Dies; Help Me Grow Stamp Set; Celebratory Sips DSP; Memento Tuxedo Black & Real Red Inks; Real Red & Cherry Cobbler Blends Markers; Basic White, Real Red & Gold Foil CS; Glass EF; 1 1/4" Circle Punch; Gold Sequins; #FF0203.

Heather, that DSP works perfectly for paper piecing the drinks! Genius move. I love how yu used the red, black and gold for a fabulous good luck card. The gold sequins echo the vertical stripe perfectly. So glad you joined us at Festive Friday this week

Great card and a perfect illustration of not having to fit the theme to take part in the challenge. Thank you for joining us,
