I've really been resisting the trend of stitching on cards. And it hasn't been easy! First, Stampin' Up! has been releasing all these totally awesome piercing templates lately, which frankly cry out for plying with thread! Then, there is the little Sweet Threads Simply Sent kit in the Spring Mini (page 22, for inquiring minds), just in time for Easter, sigh. And then, Clean & Simple's #225 had the suggestion of stitching along one edge, and that was it. I couldn't take it anymore. Anyone who's been in my playroom knows I have all those cones of Pearl Cotton - and wouldn't you know, I have one called "Daffodil." Go figure. Meant to be.
