Saturday Zinnias (& Snow in August on August 17!)

Such a fun layered sketch at this round's Sketch Saturday #756, and so many great spins on it by the DT!
I decided I really wanted to turn this sketch - I feel like I've been on landscape a lot lately, lol, time to bring back the portrait!  With these layered blocks, I knew I could feature a bold DSP, too, so straight to Flowering Zinnias I went!  These are SUCH bright colors - they are sure to cheer up the gloomiest day!  I started by picking a gorgeous feature zinnia to fussy cut, then added in these bright Melon Mambo panels behind.  I didn't quite have enough room to add my sentiment directly to the background white, but this gave me the chance to heat emboss it over a nice Blackberry strip.  I think I need a nice melon berry spritzer now, lol!  I finished with some Fine Shimmer Gems for the fizz!  Yum!

Snow in August Class Saturday August 17!
