Oh wow, Hand Stamped Sentiments #473 has a gorgeous torn edge panel sketch for us this round! So, just recently, I and a downline friend (hi, Lisa!) got to go on a little road trip to visit SU!'s Kanab facility for a two day event, that included a plant tour (so WOW!) and some demo events around it. One of those was a kit event planned by our DDM, Natalie White, exactly how she offers kit events in her OWN demonstratorship. We could choose from two different kits to bring along, and then enjoy a fun demo evening after our tour networking and "soaking it all in," lol. It was a FABULOUS two days! But when it came time to play with our kits (which we weren't allowed to open ahead of time, sigh) I came to a screeching halt. All I could think as I pulled out all the awesome contents of the wonderful Road to Christmas kit was, "Yeah, NOT making this kit as is, this baby is crying out to be chopped up and changed around!" This is my usual reaction to our kits, I have to say, lol, and is how my monthly Paper Pumpkin Club was born! Starting next year, I plan to change up my Club event, to be an open craft day that also includes at least one make-n-take derived from one of our ever-improving kits - good times ahead! Today's card is my first crack at our Kanab kit evening, and it just might make an appearance in Christmas Cards part 3, as well! Supplies used: Road to Christmas Kit; plus, Wishing You Joy Stamp Set; Basic White, Lost Lagoon & Cherry Cobbler CS; Versamark Ink; White EP; Cherry Cobbler Berries; #HSS473.
