Such pretty natural colors we have for you this round at Retro Rubber #227! I couldn't help but think of a cute critter dressed up in blue when I thought of these colors, lol. When I did a quick browse for likely candidate, I kept coming back to 2021's Hot Dog set - he has so many cute accessories to color! I ended up staying pretty clean and simple today, but I think I might officially be over my fear of Blueberry Bushel! What a cutie! I can't wait to see YOUR pretty Retro projects in our colors this round - meet you at the challenge! Hot Dog Stamp Set (retired 2021); Basic White & Blueberry Bushel CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Blueberry Bushel Inks; Blueberry Bushel, Pecan Pie & Basic Black Blends Markers; Blueberry Bushel Tinsel Gems; #RRCB227. So super fun - we want to see what you have for "transport" this round at Make My Monday #222! I couldn't resist going back to my Legendary Ride set - love these choppers! I have also carefully hoarded some of the Ready to Ride DSP that was released with it, lol, and I am still just as smitten with the sheet that has the little biker scenes that we can cut apart and use as backgrounds. I liked this one so much I let it do all the heavy lifting! I did color in my little bike with Pumpkin Pie to match the details, but still so fabulous! Can't wait to see YOUR transport projects this round - meet you at the challenge! Legendary Ride Stamp Set; Ready to Ride DSP (retired); Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Basic Gray & Pumpkin Pie CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Pumpkin Pie Blend Marker; Tasteful Labels Dies (retired); Basics 2 EF; Pumpkin Pie Twine; Matte Black Dots; #MMM222. So excited to sneak into this month's NBUS #60 - I always have a little pile of new toys to ink up! Today I decided to break in my new Everyday Details bundle - I knew I was going to end up with this one sooner or later because of the awesome DIES! I paired it with my SAB pack of Softly Stippled, and chose the pretty vase of flowers to highlight - so fun to color, too! Then I cut the panel with one of the accompanying dies - love this pierced border! Can't wait to try the circles, too! I heat-embossed the sentiment to match my background border and finished with a few Pebbled Path Dots - simple and perfect! Everyday Details Stamp Set; Softly Stippled DSP (SAB 2024); Basic White & Pebbled Path CS; Pebbled Path & Versamark Inks; White EP; Wild Wheat, Old Olive, Pool Party & Calypso Coral Blends Markers; Everyday Details Dies; Pebbled Path Dots; #NBUS60. Oo, I don't do many of these - The Flower Challenge #89 would like us to make a square card! I went to an oldie for this one - a couple of them! First up, I picked out my You've Got This set from 2018 - I have always loved this gorgeous flower, and the brilliant background stamp that comes with it! I even still had a perfect little mask for the flower still in the case, so I was able to do the floral stamping all one layer! I chose the colors based on the DSP I used to custom make the envelope for it - I had to break out the envelope punch board! I used this Petal Pink sheet for that, from our SAB Sunny Days pack, figuring it was pale enough to write on, at least. Then I colored up my blossom with my blends markers. A few Petal Pink Foiled Gems finishes things off. Love it! You've Got This Stamp Set; Sunny Days DSP (2024 SAB); Basic White, Early Espresso & Petal Pink CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Pool Party Inks; Old Olive, Petal Pink & Daffodil Delight Blends Markers; Tasteful Labels Dies (retired); Petal Pink Foiled Gems; #TFC89. What a fun theme this round at The Male Room #184 - "food and drink!" I have some great food sets, but today I wanted to play again with Simply Sparkling - so fun! I did a pair of soda cans, and gave them each a funny label - the sentiments are great for building cute combos! I floated them both over this Sweet Sorbet Glimmer CS, the ombre effect is so cool, lol, and I tucked in some bubbles while I was at it! I finished with a few Sweet Sorbet Pearls, too, gotta have a little bling even on a guy card! Simply Sparkling Stamp Set; Sweet Sorbet Glimmer, Basic White, Basic Black, Parakeet Party & Sweet Sorbet CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Sweet Sorbet & Parakeet Party Inks; Gray Granit, Bubble Bath & Lemon Lolly Blends Markers; Simply Sparkling & Radiating Stitches Dies; Sweet Sorbet Pearls; #TMR184. Time for another critter focus for Critter Crazy #84! A set I haven't used in forever, but has been on my mind lately got a chance to come out to play today! The Gang's All Meer is from our 2020 SAB, and I've been smitten with these little guys ever since, lol. I decided to pull out the little group photo stamp - don't they look adorable posing like that?? After I colored them all in, I went back and lightened up their little tummies with my color lifter for a little extra touch - SWOON! They sure bring a smile to your face, don't they? The Gang's All Meer Stamp Set (retired 2020); Lemon Lime Twist DSP; Basic Whit & Crumb Cake CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Crumb Cake & Color Lifter Blends Markers; Stitched So Sweetly Dies; Lemon Lime Twist Mini Striped Ribbon; Enamel Dot Essentials; #Critters84. Such a pretty combo at this round's In{k}spire Me #529! It took me a minute to realize - this combo is just MADE for the new Latte Love suite now available! I'm still totally smitten with all of it, so I jumped right in! First up I created a background from one of my favorite sheets from the DSP, love these creamy swirls! Next I decided I wanted to stamp my own cup this time, and I colored it in with Lemon Lolly before stamping this barrista leaf in the center. Since it was just a smidge too small for the sketch, I floated it on a nice Stylish Circle in Calypso, and finished with my sentiment on Lost Lagoon. I even threw on some Cream Swirl Dots for some extra love, lol. This came out interesting, but I think maybe my circle should have been in Early Espresso... Latte Love Stamp Set; A Little Latte DSP; Basic White, Early Espresso, Calypso Coral & Lost Lagoon CS; Early Espresso Ink; Lemon Lolly Blend Marker; Latte Love & Stylish Shapes Dies; Linen Thread; Swirl Dots; #IMC529. We have a lovely off-the-edge sketch for you this round at Hand Stamped Sentiments #434! One of those shapes reminded me SO MUCH of one of our stampin' blocks, lol, so I decided to do my background shapes in ALL blocks, lol. I actually don't do this a lot, but it was fun to ink up different ones in different colors! Instead of a floral image, I went with my Botanical Layers set I picked up during Sale-A-Bration - such cool images, though I wish it had dies, lol. I decided to pop up my sentiment on a shape so it didn't get lost in all that green! And I finished with a few Pretty Peacock Tinsel Gems, because these look way more green to me in gem form, lol. I can't wait to see YOUR takes on our fun sketch - meet you at the challenge! Botanical Layers Stamp Set; Basic White & Shaded Spruce CS; Soft Sea Foam, Old Olive, Lemon Lime Twist & Shaded Spruce Inks; Tasteful Labels Dies (retired); Pretty Peacock Tinsel Gems; #HSS434. This'll be neat - AAA Birthday #59's cue this month is "geometric!" Love it! Ever since I played with that old pack of Confetti Celebration DSP from 2014, there has been this triangles sheet on my mind - so bold! Of course, the only color I still have from this particular sheet is Basic Gray, lol. But it sprang right to mind when I saw this challenge! I decided Pumpkin Pie could be close enough, and did my remaining details in Gray - this is one of my rare no-stamping cards! Such a blast - I layered up the DSP, then cut a Stitched Triangle from Pumpkin Pie. I finally added it at an angle across the background pattern, then I set up the sentiment with my Wanted To Say dies - LOVE these things! The little cloud layer behind it lets me pop it up with the big triangle! I finished with a few Gray Faceted Gems, the perfect touch. I'm so happy with how this came out! Wanted to Say & Stitched Triangles Dies; Confetti Celebration DSP (retired); Basic White, Basic Gray & Pumpkin Pie CS; Faceted Gems; #AAAB59. We have some delicate pretty colors for you this round at Sunday Stamps #331! With all those eggs, I couldn't help but think of Easter! I decided to play with Fluffiest Friends as soon as I spotted that cute little bunny! Since this set doesn't sentiments, I went with this pretty sentiment in our just-finished Sale-A-Bration set, Heartfelt Hellos! I decided to keep it all ultra CAS - no layers today! I did a little strand of background grass from Pear Pizzazz, and stamped my sentiment on Pool Party to float above that. After coloring in my bunny cutie, I popped him up overlapping the background pieces - so cute! At the last second, I decided to finish with these subtle Lemon Lolly Dots. Now I want an Easter cupcake, too! I can't wait to see your subtle projects for our colors this round - meet you at the challenge! Fluffiest Friends & Heartfelt Hellos (SAB 2024) Stamp Sets; Pear Pizzazz DSP (retired); Basic White, Pool Party & Pear Pizzazz (retired) CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Crumb Cake, Fresh Freesia & Pool Party Blends Markers; Fluffiest Friends Dies; Heartfelt Hexagons Punch; Lemon Lolly Dots; #SSC331. |
