 Oo, I LOVE a good tilty layered sketch, just like this one at Try a Sketch on Tuesday #693! I really wanted to play with our gorgeous Scenic Coast suite for this one - all those fabulous papers! I did manage to get everything on there, but I think that maybe my tilted layer is just a bit too big to really show it all off, lol. {SHRUG} I started with an edge-to-edge background in one of the darker sunsets, then squeezed in a layer of the Sunset Shimmer Vellum, and a "b-side" Crushed Curry square of the DSP. Next up came my feature layer with the sailboat die and a lighter sunrise - just so pretty! I added a few seagulls in our old Starry Sky CS, too - I really think of that color when I look at these papers, lol. I even had a few pearls for it, too! I stamped the rest of my sentiment inside: "I hope it finds you happy!"  Ooo! The "topping" at Seize the Birthday #324 is to make a Spring garden! Lovely! I did a scan of my retired papers first, and spotted this sweet Spring-y sheet in the old Hues of Happiness pack - and I love the tiny little blooms! So I pulled the Happiness Abounds bundle to see if there was a birthday sentiment (of course there was!) I was late to taking in this suite, so there are plenty of stamps I hadn't used et - like the two little sprays of tiny flowers that go so well with this sheet! I started with my sentiment, and then stamped 5 of the little nosegays to color. I ended up clustering them all around one end of the sentiment, and finishing with some Sunny Day Iridescent Dots - pretty fun in Melon Mambo! While I have some pretty good stash in this one, I also couldn't resist inking up our new Thanks Man stamp set - as soon as I saw the word "bruh," I knew I needed to have it, lol. It also has "dude," but I had big diecut plans for that, with our old Be Dazzling Specialty Paper from 2021 - this stuff is like DISCO sparkly, lol. I wanted to really show it off, so I cut it big with our Large Letter Dies from 2019, and added the second sentiment underneath. A few Iridescent Pearls seemed just right to finish things off! I love the scribble font in this set! Aw, I so love the sweet treat challenge at this round of Time Out Challenge #310! Since I finally managed to replace my missing Sweetest Thing bundle from 2019 (yes, I know I'm a loony toon, lol) I knew I just HAD to use it for this challenge! I even found a bit of the coordinating How Sweet It Is DSP - so perfect! I was so excited by it all that I even cut into one of my precious remaining Mango Melody sheets - I miss this color so bad! I set up a nice bright stripe-y background, then popped up some sweet treat jars across it, finishing with the "sweet" sentiment along the bottom. So simple and still so playful! I couldn't resist a few Gorgeous Grape Glossy Dots, too - I almost never use this color and still have SO many!! Oo, this is a great theme at the next round of The Male Room #209 - vehicles or transport! I decided to have another crack at the VERY cool Ready Set Go set - that features Formula 1 race cars! If you look REALLY closely, you can totally spot Brad Pitt in the cockpit of my car from both angles! Lol! Anyway, I had been wondering for a while how the car would look cut out on the hexagon die shape, and I was right, it's pretty snazzy - I ended up with both cars AND the sentiment, which is maybe a little overkill. The first set from my pre-order I wanted to break in is the Splash & Relax bundle - it's so cute and filled with seaside fun! I also wanted to make it into a mini sampler of our newest 2026-28 In Colors, so I didn't use many of the stamps - just the sunshine-y sentiment, lol. But I did get to check out some of the amazing dies - and there's even more than I showed here! I decided to add the sentiment in a Nested Essential hexagon, and I put everything over a glorious stripey background in our new Hydrangea Hue - LOVE the new In Color DSP stack, too - the best patterns! I surrounded the sentiment with some snazzy flip-flops in Crisp Cantaloupe with a Barely Blush strap, shades in Peaceful Pine with Golden Glow lenses, and a yummy cold drink in a Hydrangea Hue cup! I didn't even touch the sun visor or the sunscreen tube! Another great theme at this round of Farm Quest #82 - a pond or creek! After a little thought, I knew I wanted to bring in my beloved otter gang for this one - they're just so playful! I set up a little background layer with the Otterly Adorable DSP, then built a little underwater scene for the front - I don't think I've used that many of these dies! I got a little school of fish across the top of my Pool Party oval, then tucked in underwater fronds and rocks around the edges. This darling duo took center place, and I tucked in the sentiment last. It took me a minute to remember that I had these coordinating Riverside Pearls still, too! These guys are just the Christmas cutest! I was really in the mood to color today, too, so I set the whole scene today! I started with the stump house in the background, with its festive light strand, then I stamped my two favorite gnomes to color and fussy cut - I'm so smitten! I think it might have all started when I was the "Appreciation" chair on our grade school PTO board. Besides wrangling our "appreciation" events, like lunches for teachers, I also sent out thanks to every person who helped out in some way. And I never lost the habit! When you think about it, there's a lot to be grateful for, and I love letting people know, lol. I put together today's "thanks" using the 12 Days of Crafting Advent collection - it's always fun to dig through the bag of stuff and see what comes of it! I followed the sketch pretty closely, and used all my neutrals to make each kitty different - I even snuck in our new Golden Glow! Looks perfect for orange cats, if I do say so myself, lol. Anyway, what a fun morning! I miss my kitties!
