 The sketch at this week's Hand-Stamped Sentiments #298 is SUCH a cutie! Time to dive in! I browsed for QUITE a while choosing the stamp set I wanted to use - Then I remembered the wood cut shape in Rooted in Nature, and knew I was set. I could even pull in the pretty DSP from the suite - Nature's Poem is one of my faves! I stamped off my trunk shape so I could add the sentiment straight to it, and it was a breeze to fussy cut - the only shape NOT in the amazing framelit set, lol. Love this bundle and it really was perfect for this sketch! The DSP and wood elements are great details. I wish SU had done a framelit for the trunk but like you said it is easy enough to fussy cut. I LOVE that you used the tree trunk slice as the circle element of the sketch....really, really smart! And the leaves are the perfect accents. Thanks for joining us again at HSS!
