Oh by gosh, by golly! Merry Monday #249 is all about the mistletoe (not holly, lol!) I'm going to try and render it in Try Stampin' on Tuesday #323's pretty sketch! I think I'm going to try for these modern colors at Color Throwdown #444, too - just the bare essentials! I had to take a little trip into the Room of Retirement for this one, sigh, but hah, my quest was successful! I used the mistletoe image from Banners for Christmas a lot last year - it was one of my faves, and every time I use it, I think about going out mistletoe hunting in the woods with my grandad, who would use a BB gun to, ahem, "shoot" sprigs down for us to use in the house decorations. Good times, lol. Then in my search for a sentiment that fit the shape I needed, I rediscovered my Tin of Tags stamp set (which I liked SO much more than Oh What Fun, shhh) which had the most perfect saying ever for this card. I feel like the Stampin' Gods are smiling upon me today! Banners for Christmas & Tin of Tags Stamp Sets (both retired); Wild Wasabi Stack DSP (retired); Smoky Slate, Whisper White & Wild Wasabi CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Wild Wasabi & Smoky Slate Inks; Layering Ovals & Stitched Shapes Framelits; Smoky Slate Stitched Ribbon; Wild Wasabi Candy Dots (retired); #Merry249; #TSOT323; #CTD444.

Such a lovely card, Lisa, and a great story about your granddad too! Love that you used an oval and tucked it behind the bottom piece with an angle. Very fun! Thanks for sharing with us at Try Stampin' or Not on Tuesday.
