![]() Wow! We have a parquet sketch for you this round at Retro Rubber #240! I have never done a layout like this before - it took me a minute (or two!) to decide how to begin, lol. I did know I wanted to use the bold fun papers in our Take a Bow DSP, but I needed a good image to center it, too - and do I have one that has the sentiment included?? Yes, of course! I pulled out Peaceful Pines from 2015, and started chopping strips of DSP, lol. I figured once I set the first one on top, I could just work my way down, and I wanted to leave some of the background cardstock showing, too. It was really fun how this came together! A quick trim around the edges when I was done and I was all set! I put my tree on top, then went back and slipped in that contrasting circle. What a fun time! I can't wait to see YOUR fancy cards this rounds - don't forget to make it Retro! Peaceful Pines Stamp Set (retired 2015); Take a Bow DSP; Basic White & Real Red CS; Granny Apple Green Ink; Perfect Pines (retired) & Stylish Shapes Dies; Granny Apple Green Glitter Sequins; #RRCB240. ![]() Pumpkin Club September 28 at 2 PM! I love that new DSP. So bright, cheery and festive. The herringbone pattern is a fun one to play with and you created a really great holiday card, Heather! Cheers, Jolanda.
