Addicted to CAS # 228 has another great code word for us this round - "birds!" You know with a straight-line like a bird cue, there was no way I'd NOT do my chickens, right?? I went with the eponymous Best of Cluck one today! I started by blender brush-stenciling some faint background with a honeycomb doily - I think it's very chicken wire-esque! Next I stamped my clucker right over this in black, and then again on a piece of white scrap. I colored in my scrap chicken with my Blends Markers, and added my usual dots with a white gel pen to the body. After fussy cutting this cutie I pop-dotted it over the background for some extra dimension. These pretty Pale Papaya Fine Sparkle Gems were just the right touch to finish! Let's do the Chicken Dance! Best of Cluck Stamp Set (retired 2006); Basic White CS; Honeycomb Doily; Memento Tuxedo Black & Sahara Sand Inks; Real Red, Old Olive & Mango Melody Blends Markers; White Gel Pen; Pale Papaya Fine Sparkle Gems; #ATCAS228.

I am new to stamping. I love chickens and have this one!! Why did you stamp it 2 times?? I have heard never send a naked envelope-what did you do. I really don’t know about blending but I do have something similar to the honeycomb die. Ty
