Grassy Grove

Hm, AAA Cards #235 has a very specific challenge this round, but hey, I'm game!  Guess I didn't know "ink-blending on an edge" was a thing, lol.
I started by browsing for a stamp set that would work stamping over my blended are, so I could figure out what colors I'd use.  I quickly spotted Grassy Grove - I'm not sure I've EVER used this stamp set!  I got the bundle for the fabulous trees in the Grove dies, and never looked back, lol.  That'll learn me!  Since I was going with a woodsy set, I chose greens for my blended edge, and then did all my stamping in Early Espresso to further the "grove" vibe.  I finished with three tiny Rustic Metallic Dots - still CAS enough, I hope!
Grassy Grove Stamp Set; Basic White CS; Old Olive, Garden Green, Shaded Spruce & Early Espresso Inks; Blending Brush; Stitched Shapes Dies (retired); Rustic Metallic Dots; #AAA235.

Flower Shopping

I can tell we're all getting the yen for Spring with Shopping Our Stash #491's "flowers flowers everywhere" theme, lol!
So, I recently "re-"discovered a sizable stash of our lovely Tea Boutique DSP - it's so fresh and bright - it was a celebration of our new In Colors at the start of the current Annual Catalog, and I think I used it once in a catty preview class last year and promptly forgot about it!  I think I need to relocate my 6" x 6" DSP to be more visible, lol.  ANYWAY, I found this sweet Spring-y sheet in there, and pulled my trusty Color & Contour bundle to dress it up!  I stamped my sentiment onto this pretty tag of Parakeet Party, and finally played with this stem from the the stamps - so cute!  It was fun to pull out two colors from this release that I have rarely used!
Color & Contour Stamp Set; Tea Boutique DSP; Basic White & Parakeet Party CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Sweet Sorbet Inks; Parakeet Party Blend Marker; Scalloped Contours Dies; Parakeet Party Matte Decorative Dots; Parakeet Party Baker's Twine; #SOS491.

If You Give a Crafter a Cookie #177 is continuing their color challenge this month with ORANGE!  Sweet!
I decided to try out my Dainty Delight set for this one.  I have to admit, I only got this set because it has that gorgeous coordinating Sale-a-Bration DSP, lol - how can I resist cool freebies??  Anyway, since I'm supposed to be all orange today, I turned instead to the Rain or Shine DSP pack, which has Mango Melody for its "orange!"  Yum!  I pulled this speckled background for my base, and then colored up two different gorgeous stems with my Blends Markers - I used Pumpkin Pie on the flowers themselves to make it pop a little from the background.  I finished with a few orange details - so thirsty now!
Dainty Delight Stamp Set; Rain or Shine DSP; Basic White & Mango Melody CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie & Daffodil Delight Blends Markers; Dainty Delight & Stylish Shapes Dies; Pumpkin Pie Twine; Iridescent Pastel Gems (really Calypso Coral, but they read orange on this card to me, lol); #Cookie177.

Yay, another fun challenge from The Male Room #171 - nature!
Our new Seaside Bay suite is PERFECT for showcasing some nature - and the best kind, too - by the sea!  I started with a lovely brushstroke DSP background from the By the Bay pack.  I doctored it up a little with some of the sandy speckle stamps - one has the tiny shells you see!  And there's a die for them!  So I popped them up, naturally, and set this curious sand piper on the other side, lol.  I did some sea grasses behind her as well, from a different DSP sheet, though it blends in really well...
Seaside Bay Stamp Set; By the Bay DSP; Basic White & Crumb Cake CS; Crumb Cake & Early Espresso Inks; Blender Pen; Seaside Bay & Ornate Frames (retired) Dies; Rustic Metallic Dots; #TMR171.

Nice - the new challenge for us this round at AAA Cards #232 is "white on white!"  This is fun to do with dies!
So I ended up with a no-stamp special - don't do too many of these, but I knew right away I wanted to combine my beloved Meadow Dies with my old Greetings dies from 2020.  One thing I really like to do for these is layer them up - the stem and the sentiment both have 3 layers each, to give them more dimension and depth.  At the last second, I decided to pop on a few of our new Milky Dots in White - love these suckers!  I also used my die leftover to stencil a little stem on my envelope in Sahara Sand - no naked envelopes!
Basic White CS; Sahara Sand Ink (on envelope); Meadow & Greetings (retired) Dies; Milky Dots; #AAA232.

Too funny - Shopping Our Stash #487 is celebrating Pajama Day!  We're supposed to make a card inspired by our favorites, lol...
THIS time, I really had to hunt through my drawers for some jammies I thought I could CASE, lol.  I finally found these cuties at the bottom of a drawer I haven't looked in for ages - I forgot I had these!  I thought they could be a fun one to reproduce, and I went with the Color & Contour set to do it!  I stamped all my stems and flowers in Melon Mambo to start my background sheet, then filled in with Mango Melody - what a vibrant combo!  I think now I should have mixed in more Melon Mambo, but I do love how it came out!  I floated everything over Pear Pizzazz for the ribbons, and finished with a strand of Melon Mambo twine a few matching Solid Faceted Gems.  What a fun project!  I included a shot of my pajamas below, lol.
Color & Contour Stamp Set; Basic White & Pear Pizzazz CS; Melon Mambo, Mango Melody & Pear Pizzazz Ink; Layering Circles Dies; Melon Mambo Twine; Melon Mambo Solid Faceted Gems; #SOS487.

So excited that I get a chance to play at the Alphabet Blog Challenge - this round, T is for Thank You!
What a perfect straight line to break out my new Sweet Citrus bundle, too, lol.  Another fun new hybrid set to play with!  I didn't do any of the hybrid embossing today, I'm too fascinated by the gorgeous and easy two-step stamping for the citrus, and super easy to cut out with the dies!  I did my fruits all in Mango Melody today, full strength on the peels, and then stamped off for the centers.  There's even two dies for the leaves, so I don't have to run everything through multiple times, lol.  I foresee a lot of juicing in my future!
Sweet Citrus Stamp Set; Pear Pizzazz DSP; Basic White & Mango Melody CS; Mango Melody & Pear Pizzazz Inks; Sweet Citrus & Ornate Frames (retired) Dies; Pale Papaya Opal Rounds; #ABCThanks.

With great timing as always, Cardz 4 Guyz #312 is a "winter theme" challenge - fun!
For this one, I couldn't resist a return to 2019's Sheltering Tree, I love the seasonal flavor you ca add with the different "dressings" for the tree!  I love this sentiment with the winter theme, too, and I added a "thank you" on the inside from Wildflower Path.  Such a simple card - only two colors!  I had to finish with three tiny snowflake sequins, lol, it IS Winter, after all!
Sheltering Tree (retired 2019) & Wildflower Path Stamp Sets; Basic White & Pool Party CS; Soft Suede & Pool Party Inks; Snowflake Sequins; #C4G312.

Lol, I really like the theme at The Male Room #169 - transportation!
I was all set to pull a sailboat set out when I realized - I have JUST the thing in my pre-order! Today's card features the upcoming Enjoy the Journey suite!  I went with a gorgeous majestic background supplied by the DSP, with dramatic silhouettes from the Greatest Journey dies, and sentiment from the stamp set.  My little trees on the envelope are from the stamp set, too, lol.  I love the mix of fonts in ALL the sentiments, and this one just seemed like the natural choice!  I can't wait to play with the suite more!
Greatest Journey Stamp Set; Enjoy the Journey DSP; Basic White & Basic Black CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Garden Green Inks; Greatest Journey & Rectangle Stitched Dies; Garden Green Baker's Twine; Garden Green Glitter Enamel Dots (retired); #TMR169.

Good one!  Cardz 4 Guyz #309 would like to see some manly thank yous this round!
I decided this would be a great chance to try out the punny thank you in A Little Cheesy - so funny!  I did an all-over background in this striped sheet from the Design A Daydream DSP pack, and floated my feature over that on a Stitched Rectangle.  The pudding bowl was super easy to fussy-cut for some extra dimension!  I finished with some Blackberry Bliss Ribbon and some purple Glossy Dots - looks tasty to me!
A Little Cheesy Stamp Set; Design A Daydream DSP; Basic White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Blackberry Bliss, Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate & SU100 Blends Markers; Rectangle Stitched Dies; Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon; Glossy Dots; #C4G309.
