Yum! If You Give a Crafter a Cookie #214 is all about green clovers! I almost completely forgot that our adorable Sweet Jar bundle totally has shamrocks in it - and how cute is that combo sentiment?? This cutie JUST retired, but I couldn't resist, lol. I set it up over a swirly sheet of our Painted Illusions DSP - one of our Product of the Month items! I tried to be strategic and get as much green on there as I could! Those swirls made me think of movement so much - so I propped open my little sweet jar so that luck could just blow all over the place! I finished with a few Granny Apple Green Glitter Sequins! Sweet Jar Stamp Set & Builder Punch (retired 2026); Painted Illusions DSP; Basic White & Granny Apple Green CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Granny Apple Green Inks; Granny Apple Green Glitter Sequins; #Cookie214.

Here I am with First Cup Challenge #12 - March edition! I feel like I'm on a super green streak this week, lol. For today's serving of greens, I'm going with a drinkable one! I knew I wanted to do some green beers, and finally break in my Reason to Celebrate set at the same time! A quick dig yielded me up this speckled Old Olive sheet from the Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP, and then I pulled my Brewed For You bundle that retired in 2024 to crank out those beers! I did one of each of the glasses, and filled them with some stamped off Old Olive in a nod to the saint! This fancy Tasteful Label in Soft Sea Foam was big enough to pair up my sentiments - "I owe you one or several" is from the Brewed set - perfect together! Fun stuff - and now I'm thirsty! Brewed For You (retired) & Reason to Celebrate Stamp Sets; Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP; Basic White, Mossy Meadow & Soft Sea Foam CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Old Olive Inks; Brewed & Tasteful Labels Dies (both retired); Old Olive Linen Thread; Old Olive Speckled Dots; #FCC12. Oo, just in time - we want to see a St. Patrick's Day card at this round of Retro Rubber #266! I have a tiny little stockpile of older St. Pat's stamps, and I wanted to dress them up for sure! And you know I like to combine old and new, too, of course! To that end, I saw a chance to slip in a little bit of the new A Wonderful Match DSP - a new pack dedicated to all things soccer, but also green, which is why I snagged it, lol. There's a sheet of some tags and tableaus, and I clipped out this cute stripey one for today! After some thought, my beloved Define Your Life set from 2007, along with the accompanying Defining Alphabet seemed perfect to go with the tag, and I added my little shamrock from 2013's Lucky Day for good measure! Plenty of retro, for sure! I can't wait to see YOUR lucky projects, too - and make sure it's RETRO! Define Your Life, Defining Alphabet (both retired 2007) & Lucky Day (retired 2013) Stamp Sets; A wonderful Match DSP; Basic White, Basic Black & Granny Apple Green CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Granny Apple Green Inks; Deckled Rectangles Dies; Layered Leaves EF (retired); Traditional Sparkling Sequins; #RRCB266. Open Craft, Feb 28, 2 pm Hope you can make our monthly "open craft" day for February! Let's get together and work on our projects, while enjoying time together, and yummy snacks! I'll have a quick make-n-take for you, otherwise, bring your "UFOs" or new ventures, and have a great time in good company! All my tools will be available for your use, and consumables at cost. I'll be there with any help you might need! $5 studio fee per person! RSVP today so I have enough snacks! We have a fun color combo from Cupcake Inspirations #623 this round - I don't do green and white too often! As I scanned my stamp sets, I noticed that my Sweet Jar set has some shamrocks for the jars, too - how perfect is that?? I found this sheet of green smudges in my Full of Life DSP pack that I decided would be perfect, and then stamped and punched my jar. I layered on a few extra shamrocks in Old Olive over the Granny Apple Green, and punched my little two-color sentiment, too. I even found some old Old Olive Baker's Twine - let's hear it for green and white! Sweet Jar Stamp Set; Full of Life DSP; Basic White & Granny Apple Green CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Granny Apple Green & Old Olive Inks; Sweet Jar Builder & 1 1/4" Circle Punches; Old Olive Baker's Twine; Green Glitter Sequins; #CIC623. So super cute - If You Give a Crafter a Cookie #202 has a "lucky in green" theme this month! OK, I couldn't resist a plate full of shamrock cookies, and thanks to my old Got Treats stamp set from 2011, I had just the thing! I started by stamping 6 different green shamrocks, and cutting them all out (hel-LO, Scan-n-Cut!) so I could float them over a Crumb Cake "cookie" - not too shabby! I took a "bite" out of one with a Scalloped Circle punch to punch up the effect, lol. Then I had to build this cookie sentiment with my beloved Nothing's Better Than set - today is all about the cookies! I couldn't resist stamping a green cookie on my envelope to go with - to go with the green milk my Grandma used to make for the day, lol. Good times! Got Treats (retired 2011) & Nothing's Better Than (retired 2023) Stamp Sets; Basic White, Granny Apple Green & Crumb Cake CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist, Old Olive, Shaded Spruce, Mossy Meadow & Soft Sea Foam Inks; 1 1/2" Circle & 7/8" Scalloped Circle Punches; #Cookie202. Yay! Festive Friday #154 has an awesome St. Patrick's Day inspo list! Let's go green! I totally had to pull out my Gift Givers set from 2011 for this one - I love this little guy, AND he's so fun to color! I did a quick two-tone green background for him, then colored away, lol. For some gold embellies, I added some Gold Cording Trim behind his circles, and finished with some Festive Pearls - these suckers are SO shiny - I love them! So, I think I hit, Green, Gold, Gold Embellishments, Leprechaun and Good Luck Sentiment - this stamp has it all in a tiny space, lol. Gift Givers Stamp Set (retired 2011); Granny Apple Green DSP; Basic White, Lemon Lime Twist & Granny Apple Green CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist, Old Olive, Pool Party, Shaded Spruce, Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate, SU400 & SU800 Blends Markers; 1 3/4", 2", & 2 1/4" Circle Punches; Gold Cording Trim; Gold Festive Pearls; #FF0154. Ahhh, my most favorite words, right after "any shape," are "anything goes!" And that's what we have this round at Retro Rubber #202! That said, I think I'll follow the lead of several of my teammates, and Irish today, lol. I pulled out some real oldies for this one! My cute capering leprechaun is from 2011's Gift Givers set, and my pretty shamrocks are from 2013's single stamp Lucky Day - so fun to see them in fresh current colors! I did a simple layout and added some ribbon - about done with this roll, finally! I can't wait to see what YOU come up with this round - hope to see you at the challenge! Gift Givers (retired 2011) & Lucky Day (retired 2013) Stamp Sets; Basic White & Cranny Apple Green CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Granny Apple Green Inks; Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate, SU700 & SU 600 Blends Markers; Basic 3D EF; Textured Weave Ribbon; 1 3/4" Circle Punch; Wonderful Gems; #RRCB202. Uh oh, The Male Room #148 is really testing us this month with their "not a card" challenge! So, here's a little side of my classes you don't get to see here too often, lol. For every regular class, I like to make a little "pillow gift," usually some kind of candy treat, and this month's class is pretty close to St. Patrick's Day, soooo, Leprechaun Hat Treats! Lol. I think they're perfect for this challenge, too! I did a green DSP insert into clear tiny treat boxes with Forever Greenery, then added a hat band in black with a little buckle in Crushed Curry. I finished with a tiny shamrock using the old Itty Bitty Accents punch, and a Bumblebee Enamel Dot in the middle. I filled them with green-wrapped peppermint patties, and hubby has already made off with his, lol... Clear Tiny Treat Boxes; Forever Greenery DSP; Garden Green, Basic Black & Crushed Curry CS; 7/8" Square & Itty Bitty Flower Punches; Bumblebee Enamel Dots; #TMR148. I was wondering who would get the first St Pat's challenge in front of me - this year's winner is Fusion's St. Paddy's, with this fun sketch and inspiration combo! I actually found this sketch to be a challenge, so I had to take a few liberties, of course, lol. The picture shows this cute little upside-down flower pot leprechaun suit, so I tried to pull that in a little in my own little corner feature, and I added some leaves and texture. This sentiment is from Lovely Friends, which I have been neglecting terribly! It has an amazing set of thinlits to go with that I have ended up not exploring as I should, sigh. Hopefully all this luckiness will push me along now, lol... Lovely Friends Stamp Set; Delightful Daisy DSP; Garden Green, Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Lemon Lime Twist & Always Artichoke CS; Old Olive Ink; Basket Weave DEF; Lots of Labels & Layering Circles Framelits; Flourish Thinlits; 1" & 7/8" Square Punches (retired); Old Olive Enamel Shapes; #FusionStPaddys. Bubbles & Raindrops Class March 10! Time for a focus class: Bubble Over and Sunshine & Rainbows! There's so many fun features to explore for these two suites that we have to make it all about them! Class will cover 6 (!!) projects, three designs for each set, and includes all your supplies and accessories (bring your own snips and adhesive.) Snacks and drinks, good company and a special gift from me are all also included, all for $25! This class can also be FREE with your purchase of $30 or more! RSVP today to save your spot for Saturday March 10 at 3 pm - I have prepped like crazy for you! See you there! Another great sketch at this week's Freshly Made Sketches #177 - seems perfect to pair with this week's St. Patty's color challenge at Nacho Average Challenge #132! I of COURSE wanted to play with shape a little here, lol, and I still had my recently inked Well-Worded set out. You know, I've never used the mustache from that set either! A quick assemblage in the challenge colors, and I have a quirky St. Patty's card ready to go - that makes me giggle, too. Well Worded & Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Sets; Gold Glimmer Paper; Pear Pizzaz DSP Scrap (retired stack); Whisper White & Pear Pizzazz CS; Garden Green Ink; Lovely Lace Embossing Folder; Mustache Framelit; Banner Punch (to flag the sentiment.) |
