Yum! I'm loving our plum cozy colors at this round of Sunday Stamps #329! Today I needed a super quick (and super simple!) card to send out to a friend who just got some bad news. Don't you just hate to hear about that? I wanted to send a little note of encouragement along, and it just happened to fall on our color day at Sunday Stamps! What a challenge! I decided to keep thing fairly stripped down, and brought in Delicate Forest, which has WONDERFUL sentiments for giving a friend a hand up! I stamped off a tiny bit of stem-scape for the background, then did two layers of these pretty stems in two of our colors. The sentiment floats above in a third color, and I finished with some Solid Gems. I still have time to make the mail, I think! I can't wait to see YOUR projects with our pretty colors - meet you at the challenge! Delicate Forest Stamp Set; Basic White, Pecan Pie, Blackberry Bliss & Moody Mauve CS; Moody Mauve & Pecan Pie Inks; Delicate Forest Dies; Solid Gems in Pecan Pie; White Baker's Twine; SSC329. I had some fun picking the colors for this one at As You See It #315! It might just be my inspiration pic, but these colors said SPRING to me, lol, so I decided to try out my new Excellent Eggs bundle! One egg to color and I cut out three more! This set has very fun dies - so many details we can add to three different sized eggs - the dies are totally why I got this bundle, lol. We haven't had a fun Easter Egg set for a while, and all the dots and stitching, the fun stripes we can play with - it was a must-have for me, lol. I had some fun pulling together this Bright Granny Apple background, and then coloring in the stamped egg - yum! I added a few of the fancy diecut eggs, and finished with some Melon Mambo Glossy Dots - such happy colors! I can't wait to see YOUR projects with our playful colors - meet you at the challenge! Excellent Eggs Stamp Set; Granny Apple Green DSP (retired); Basic White, Mossy Meadow, Crushed Curry & Melon Mambo CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo & Mossy Meadow Blends Markers; Crushed Curry Stamp-n-Write Marker; Excellent Eggs & Tasteful Labels (retired) Dies; Melon Mambo Glossy Dots; #AYSI315. Aw, such a cute one - Cardz 4 Guyz #337 would like to see Christmas elves or gnomes this round! I was a little shocked to realize that I actually don't have ANY elf sets or papers - how does that happen? So gnomes it is! I combined last year's Kindest Gnomes with the gorgeous Beary Christmas DSP - I think gnomes would totally wear this Nordic pattern, lol. I kept it fairly simple for a guy, but I DID finally use my very last 5 Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes - it's a big day! I love this little lantern gnome and dressed him all in green to go with his background. The Nested Essentials dies made for a fun shape to set him off! Kindest Gnomes Stamp Set (retired 2022); Beary Christmas DSP; Very Vanilla & Real Red CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Versamark Inks; White EP; Real Red, Old Olive, Pebbled Path, Basic Black, Daffodil Delight & SU800 Blends Markers; Gnomes (retired) & Nested Essentials Dies; Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes (retired); #C4G337. This sounds like something to celebrate - Festive Friday #147 is all about World Hello Day! I really liked the choices on this inspo list - so may of my favorites! This ended up being one of my rare "no stamping" cards, too, lol - but I still love it! I went with bright colors using this stripey patterned sheet from last year's Celebrate Everything pack. I also added some Glossy Dots in Daffodil Delight, and used my Alphabet a la Mode dies for my "hello!" Got a lot in there, I think! I even rescued the center of my "O," lol, for just the right finishing touch, lol. Celebrate Everything DSP; Alphabet a la Mode Dies; Daffodil Delight Glossy Dots; #FF0147. We have the perfect Halloween inspiration for you at Hand Stamped Sentiments #426! I couldn't resist all these awesome pumpkins in our inspiration collage - and I had just the thing! I've been looking for a chance to use the super cute pumpkin stamps in our September 2023 Paper Pumpkin - With Love & Gratitude! I love being able to stamp that stem separately, so I can make my gourds whatever colors I want! I floated these 6 over a pretty woodgrain from our awesome All About Autumn DSP pack, and I think they look great! I can't wait to see what YOU create from our lovely inspiration - meet you at the challenge! With Love & Gratitude Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set (Sep 2023); All About Autumn DSP; Basic White & Copper Clay CS; Copper Clay, Crushed Curry, Moody Mauve, Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow, Pumpkin Pie & Early Espresso Inks; Gold Sequins; #HSS426. I had to chuckle at the name of Shopping Our Stash #507's challenge this round - they want to see a "franken-card," lol. Halloween, coming right up! I first went to my newly-acquired stash of Halloween DSP - today's choices are from the Ghostly Greetings pack from I think 2008! I love the color combos in this one! I matched it up with Spooky Sweets from 2018 - we can never have too many bats! I did a simple layout that let me show off TWO sheets of DSP, and finished with a few Iridescent Pearls - love these, too, lol. Spooky! Yeah, baby, Shopping Our Stash #505 wants us to "shakes things up!" Woo hoo! I had some fun with this one, and it actually has quite a few items I've had sitting around! Somehow, I never really used my bottle shaker domes much, but I NEVER used the stash of Effervescent Elements I got to go with them, lol. Today's the day! I started with a full card front of the beautiful Waves of the Ocean DSP - I still love this stuff so much! I set up my shaker very carefully - I pre-punched where my dome would go and had to stamp my bottle color through the layers - very exciting, lol. I added a few more bottles to round out the colors, and then carefully dropped some "bubbles in my dome, and a tiny scrap of rolled up Pool Party DSP scrap - with a quick love note on the inside that no one will ever see, lol. I'm so happy with this cutie, but sorry the dome doesn't photograph too well! Bottled Happiness Stamp Set; Waves of the Ocean DSP (retired); Basic White & Crumb Cake CS; Night of Navy, Coastal Cabana & Granny Apple Green Inks; Vintage Bottle Punch; Vintage Bottle Shaker Domes; Effervescent Elements; Night of Navy Enamel Dots; Scrap of Pool Party DSP & Linen Thread; #SOS505. I'm super excited to see AAA Birthday #52's "anything birthday goes" challenge this round - so much scope! I decided this is the perfect chance to play my newly acquired Let's Go Shopping set - such a cute suite! I'm not sure this one will ever make it into a class, but I so love it anyway - it's like setting up a new dollhouse, lol. For today, I snipped out the sweet shop from one of the DSP sheets, and then added lots of main street goodies to set the scene, lol. The lamppost, greenery and bench are part of the die set, and I also did the big pot and tiltboard sign to go along with the sentiments. Maybe too much going on, but I really wouldn't mind a trip to this cute shop! Let's Go Shopping Stamp Set; Les Shoppes DSP; Basic White, Granny Apple Green, Night of Navy & Crumb Cake CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Granny Apple Green & Calypso Coral Inks; Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green & Calypso Coral Blends Markers; Let's Go Shopping Dies; Iridescent Pastel Gems; #AAAB52. We're focusing on the sentiment this week at Sunday Stamps #314 - front and center! I got a chance to browse some different stamp sets recently at a stampin' retreat - so much fun! One that I jumped at was Good Feelings - I didn't get this one, but SO perfect for a big front and center sketch like ours! I chose this happy sentiment to fit a landscape orientation a bit better, and matched it with this sunny DSP from our old Dandy Designs pack - I still have a bit of this one left, and I can't let go of the cheery color combos! I finished with this pretty Petal Pink ribbon and some bold Calypso Coral Iridescent Pastel Gems! Yum! I can't wait to see YOUR projects for our fun sketch this round - meet you at the challenge! Aw, this is a sweet one - The Flower Challenge #81 would like us to use our favorite flower! My favorite flower is the tulip, I think - they can come in so many colors! Hands down, the bright and flamboyant parrot tulip is my absolute fave, but I don't have any images of those, lol. So I settled on my favorite tulip stamp set still, 2018's Tranquil Tulips. I love the 3D quality this 2-step stamp set has, and I was thrilled to try it in our new Bubble Bath pink, too - lovely! I added all the trimmings of stems, leaves and a few muscari in Fresh Freesia - my grandma always grew these together! This lovely Numbers quote from Courage & Faith was the perfect sentiment to go with, and I finished with some Brass Butterflies. Love how fresh it all looks! Tranquil Tulips (retired 2018) & Courage & Faith Stamp Sets; Granny Apple Green DSP; Basic White & Bubble Bath CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Granny Apple Green, Bubble Bath & Fresh Freesia Inks; Ovals Collection Dies; Brass Butterflies; #TFC81.
