WOW! Pretty snazzy sketch from this week's Retro Sketch #232! I'm a little intimidated by this one, lol...
And I don't know why! The DT samples are perfect and make total sense to me. But here at my desk, I'm choking! OK, so I might be a cheating cheater who cheats today, but I solved my problem by re-ordering my layers a little. Shh. SO much fun playing with the new Halloween Scenes Edgelits! Love it!

Another fun sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #251!
I had one last new stamp set to play with from my pre-order, lol, and darn it, I'm gonna use it! After all, I'll probably be placing my next order any second, lol... Anyway, as soon as I saw this set, Mr. Funny Bones, I knew I had to have it! How could everyone NOT need their own build-a-skeleton stamp set?? It's a must-have, I tell you... Anyway, the sentiments that go with it are just perfect, like this one: Break A Leg! "Oh, snap!" it was hard to choose, lol...

So, who got their pre-order this week?? Yeah, I had to dive right in as soon as the man in brown left! I really didn't want to do flowers with these colors, I feel like I've been doing them a lot lately, and all I could think of was Halloween. Yeah, right, who am I kidding?? I just wanted purple eyeballs, lol, and yes, they're pretty much the reason I even got this set - SO GROSS! EWWW! I LOVE THEM!! I know it's only August, but hey, the eyeballs were giving me the Hairy Eyeball as soon as they came out of the box, lol...

I can't believe this is the last week of My Pumpkin Challenge #1015 - Sweet Harvest! So sad! At least SU-per Challenges #109's Halloween challenge is a natural match to go with!
I decided I haven't been giving that witch hat stamp enough play - and it's a cutie! This card kind of reminds me of that snowman card last year with the stack of hats, but spooky of course, lol. I also played with my new Seasonal Frame thinlets that I didn't even get the stamp set for - I just wanted these words!

Goin' tilty at this week's Sunday Stamps #112! Matching this one up with this week's spooky color challenge at Nacho Average Challenge #164!
Even though I promised myself I was done with Halloween cards for this year, I had to do just ONE more, with this color combo, lol. This time, I wanted to play with Witches' Night, the stamp set that went with our Witching Decor project kit. I really like the dramatic scrollwork! I did a little fussy cutting to highlight a couple details, and threw in my last three black rhinestones from my kit. I even have that little cloud of bats on a vanilla insert on the inside!

Hard to believe we're already on week three of My Pumpkin Challenge #1015 - Sweet Harvest! So excited to match it up with this week's In{k}spire Me #220!
Hard to not do another spooky card, lol, and, (queue the dramatic music) use up every single final scrap of this old birch paper from last year's Thankful Tablescape kit! Yes! That kit is GONE, down to the last speck! Woo hoo!
OK, sorry, I get a little carried away in frugal celebrations sometimes. I needed a moment there... So ANYWAY, I just can't seem to stop making these adorable little tags with this kit's stamp set - I see that in my future for a long time to come, lol...

So excited to get to Week 2 of My Pumpkin Challenge #1015 - Sweet Harvest! I can't resist combining this week with Can You Case It #90 - the Halloween edition. A natural marriage!

There's a seriously fun sketch at this week's Retro Sketch #184! It's going to look great with the fun colors at this week's TGIF #23!
I knew right away I was going to have to browse the Room of Retirement to find the right shapes to work for this one. I also knew I wanted to try and turn this one sideways, just for fun. That worked out perfect when I finally dug out my The More the Merrier set. This old hostess set has several ADORABLE groupings to play with besides these super happy Jack-o-Lanterns, lol. I took some liberty with the sentiment placement, but hopefully you can see the sketch!

I love this week's bold and simple sketch at Nacho Average Challenge #161! I think I'll combine it with In{k}spire Me #218's Fall/Halloween challenge!
So I've had a cute little stamp set haunting me ever since convention, the Promoting Paper Pumpkin set. It's a demo-only stamp set, I believe, and it came in a little business bundle with postcards, pens and flyers. That's all cute and all, and I do LOVE the pens, lol, BUT, it was all about the PUMPKIN for me! I have long loved that curlicue pumpkin shown on our kits - now I have a stamp of it! There's also several sentiments, and a "fill-in" pumpkin stamp, but today I wanted to aqua-paint! So glad I finally got to break this cutie out!
