Yay! We have a spooky color combo for you this week at Fab Friday #200 - hope you can join us for our big milestone! With these fun colors, how could I NOT go Halloween? I decided to pull out some dancing skeleton faves from my past Paper Pumpkins! The skeletons and bones are from last year's Bone Appetit in September, and the sentiment is from way back in 2014 - September's Boo-tiful Bags. - A spooky combo for sure! I decided to create my own background by playing with our colors, and topping it all off with the "BOO!" I even had some glitter dots and twine in Garden Green - excellent! I sure hope you can play along with us - see you at the challenge! Check it out! Hand Stamped Sentiments #349 has some spooky inspiration for us this week! I couldn't help but focus on that saucy skeleton in the corner - any chance to pull out my old Mr. Funny Bones set! I was pretty straightforward today, piecing him together giving us a wave - or rather, a "high" five, yuk, yuk. This set has a few punny sentiments in it - I don't think I've ever used this one, lol. Had to give him a little Spider Trinket buddy, too - so glad I got my decorations up already! I love the layout this week at our Try Stampin' on Tuesday #478 - don't you want to play along? We have a spooky theme going as well, so let's just go hunting to see how much of my old Monster Bash Suite I can find, lol. Stamp set? Check! DSP? Check! Dies? Check! Embellies? Check, check! I really went all out on this one, lol. I had enough scraps to piece together our sketch, and then I pulled in my fave image from this set, the scary jars. I felt like this dare of a sentiment was perfect! I can't wait to see YOUR creations - come be spooky with us! Spooktacular Bash Stamp Set (retired 2019); Monster Bash DSP; Whisper White & Smoky Slate CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Just Jade, Blackberry Bliss, Pumpkin Pie & Pool Party Blends Markers; Spider Web EF (Retired); Banner Triple Punch; Ornate Frames Dies; Monster Bash Enamel Shapes; #TSOT478. Class is on for Saturday October 10, 3 PM, or you can get it to go! RSVP today to save your spot! Woo hoo! Time for another "anything goes" challenge over at Retro Rubber #144! Today, I finally settled on 2009's The More the Merrier. I almost always go for the cute snow-dudes in this one, or the fancy cupcakes, but these cute jack o' lanterns leapt out at me this time! Just started watching my seasonal round of Halloween shows yesterday on Food Network, and I kind of have pumpkin on the brain, now! I felt like fussy cutting, too, so I colored them all in, did the deed, and floated them all over a layer of Basic Black - they're jumping off the card! Such a fun Halloween warm-up, ahh, it's almost spooky time! The More the Merrier (retired 2009) Stamp Set; Monster Bash DSP (retired); Very Vanilla & Basic Black CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody & Granny Apple Green Blends; Bitty Banners Dies (retired); #RRCB144. OK, super nifty - check out that adorable pumpkin diorama at this week's Fusion Card Challenge! I might have to make one of these, lol... I went with a Halloween scene to go with that awesome diorama, and then followed the sketch to set it up. These little witches' brew ingredients are my fave image from our Spooktacular Bash set, and I think this is my fave sentiment, too, lol. I had some fun coloring in my jars, and I cut a fancy Ornate Frame to help set off the words - simple, cute AND spooky - perfect! Spooktacular Bash Stamp Set; Monster Bash DSP; Gray Granite, Whisper White & Granny Apple Green CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather, So Saffron, Smoky Slate & Pretty Peacock Blends Markers; Ornate Frames Dies; Black Baker's Twine; Black Rhinestones; #FusionPumpkinDiorama. Yay! Just in time for the big day, The Male Room #122 has a Halloween theme for us! I couldn't resist pulling out these little dancing skeletons from our last Paper Pumpkin kit, Bone Appetit. I love seeing them dancing around! I went for a rainbow layout here, and added a nice big two-tone Halloween greeting from Spooktacular Bash. This one was fun and super quick to put together - and still good for a giggle! Bone Appetit & Spooktacular Bash Stamp Sets; Whisper White CS; Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay & Gorgeous Grape Inks; Basic Black & Poppy Parade Stamp-n-Write Markers; Basic Jewel Rhinestones; #TMR122. Lol, you can't go wrong with a Fall-Halloween challenge at this week's In{k}spire Me #403! I have one last Halloween trick to play - I haven't yet played with my Wicked die - I didn't get the stamp set, but I knew I had to have that die! I layered tow colors together, offset a little, Gorgeous Grape over Smoky Slate, and did the spider, too, then used my Wish For Everything to fill in the sentiment a little - too cute! I threw on a few Monster Bash Enamel Shapes, too, for a little extra spook, lol. A Wish for Everything Stamp Set; Monster Bash DSP; Whisper White, Gorgeous Grape & Smoky Slate CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Wicked Dies; Monster Bash Enamel Shapes; #IM403. Pumpkin Club October 26! (November will be the second holiday extranvaganza kit - you won't want to miss it!) We have a fun inspiration pic and a cute sketch this week at Fusion - "Coffee!" I couldn't resist doing another Halloween card this week - I've been eyeing my retired Merry Cafe set all week, lol. Must be all the Pumpkin Spice Latte in the air these days, I guess, lol. Anyway, I did a little update by using this year's Monster Bash DSP, and a few of our Monster Bash Enamel Shapes - love it! I even snuck in a tiny little skull from the Monster Bash stamp set for the stopper! Yum! OK, time to go huff my new Pumpkin Vanilla candle from Trader Joe's - gotta get my fix somehow! Merry Cafe (retired 2017) & Monster Bash Stamp Sets; Monster Bash DSP; Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Smoky Slate & Pumpkin Pie CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Coffee Cup Dies; Monster Bash Enamel Shapes; Scallop Edge Border Punch (retired); #FusionCoffee. I'm loving our banded sketch this week at Try Stampin' on Tuesday #423! I decided this was a perfect layout for showing off the OTHER Halloween set I got this year (that makes TWO - wowza!) Boo to You. I'll get right to the point - this set was all about the multicolor googly eyes that go with it, lol - I pretty much instantly had to have them! I think it's been a few years since I've even gotten a Halloween set, let alone a suite and some extras - the siren call of the boo just did me in! So, what will YOU create?? I can't wait to see your projects over at the challenge! Boo to You Stamp Set; Monster Bash DSP; Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie & Purple Posy CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green & Purple Posy Blends; Stitched Shapes Dies; Black Scalloped Edge Ribbon; Black Rhinestones; Assorted Googly Eyes (in GREEN!!); #TSOT423. So pretty - As You See It #207 has a lovely split-panel sketch for us this week! I decided to go all spook-tacular on this one - I actually got a few Halloween things from the Holiday Catty, which I only do every few years - check out this awesome DSP! It's like a murder mystery board, lol. I whipped up some quick potions, and cut out my details with the beautiful Ornate Frames dies - good times! I love the muted colors, too - just right for sophisticated yet spooky, lol. Keep your eyes peeled!
