Excellent! We have a beautiful harvest theme for you this round at As You See It #360! Lol, I have to admit, when I was browsing my retired shelves for something that I hadn't stamped in a while, 2020's Painted Harvest kind of leapt out - it actually has the word "harvest" in it! I have always loved stamping with this one though - the layered sunflowers and leaves, the darling little acorns - it just makes such rich images! I started with my three sunflowers in Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie, then added some fronds in Old Olive, and finished with some acorns in Pecan Pie - all the good harvest colors, lol. I still have a bit of the Faux Suede Trim in Early Espresso, and I thought the pressed Flower Motifs looked cute as well! Time to get a sweater on! I can't wait to see YOUR harvest projects - meet you at the challenge! Painted Harvest Stamp Set (retired 2020); Very Vanilla & Basic Beige CS; Early Espresso, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive & Pecan Pie Inks; Faux Suede Trim Ribbon; Pressed Flower Motifs; #AYSI360.

What a beautiful inspo list Festive Friday #196 has for us for Armistice or Veteran's Day! I feel like I've used it before, but I couldn't help but turn to our still-gorgeous Peaceful Poppy suite from 2023 for this one - it's just so right! I started by picking through my Peaceful Poppy DSP scraps, and came up with these three that trimmed down nicely into a paned card front - yes! Not enough of this left for the envelope, too, but I stamped a simple poppy stem, and used my Water Painter to color it a bit. This beautiful sympathy sentiment, still one of my faves, was next, from Peaceful Moments, with a bit of Black Metallic Thread behind it. I finished with a few Black Sparkle Gems. So I think I covered red, black, watercolor, poppies and sympathy - not too bad! Peaceful Moments & Painted Poppies Stamp Set (both retired 2023); Basic White & Basic Black CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Poppy Parade & Old Olive Inks; Water Painter; Wide Oval Punch; Black Metallic Thread; Black Sparkle Gems; #FF0196. What an interesting challenge at this round of Time Out Challenge #300! They'd like us to celebrate an Autumn Festival from around the world, and have suggested a list to choose from! As soon as I spotted Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights, I knew I wanted to try for that one! I think that cultures the world over celebrate the triumph of light over darkness, and good over evil! Diwali lamps, called Diyas, are the perfect symbols of this five day celebration, and after a little thought, I mirrored this by creating five lanterns of my own, using last year's Lighting The Way bundle! I started by setting up a background with our glorious Lights of Aurora DSP, then cut 5 different colored lanterns with the dies, which I then trimmed down to this simplified hanging version. I backed each one with vellum, that I colored with Darling Duckling, though it doesn't show over the darker paper. This sentiment seemed just right. I loved this project! Lighting The Way Stamp Set & Dies (retired 2024); Lights of Aurora DSP; Basic White, Blackberry Bliss, Poppy Parade, Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Berry Burst & Granny Apple Green CS; Vellum; Black Berry Bliss Ink; Darling Duckling Blend Marker; Frosted Iridescent Dots; #TOC300. Lol, I love the theme at this round of Shopping Our Stash #559 - pumpkin spice and everything nice! I definitely had to bring my More Than Autumn bundle back out for this one, and today I focused on just the foo-foo coffee, with big whipped creams! I think it looks super yummy over this pretty autumnal plaid from my old Plaid Tidings DSP pack, and I also went for the diecut sentiments this time. I don't do that too often! I cheated a tiny bit and finished with Timid Tiger Flat Pearls - all's fair in love and pumpkins! More Than Autumn Stamp Set & Dies; Plaid Tidings DSP (retired); Basic White, Blackberry Bliss & Pumpkin Pie CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake & Peach Pie Blends Markers; Timid Tiger Flat Pearls; #SOS559. Another fun challenge from Cupcake Inspirations #629 - what makes you smile? I have two things that make me smile in my stamping, lol, otherwise I think I might just be generally relentlessly cheerful anyway! First off, I love all things dotty - polka dots are so cheerful! Next, critters ALWAYS make me smile, especially the cute bears in our upcoming Valentine Kisses stamp set and die bundle! I was totally captivated by an artist presentation on this bundle at my recent trip to Kanab, so I knew I was going to get it as soon as I could! Even the artist was smiling and giggling all through her talk about her creative process on this one, lol - a girl after my own critter heart, lol. I'm starting simple with this big ole bear bringing a bouquet of flowers - thanks, buddy! Valentine Kisses Stamp Set & Dies; Crumb Cake DSP; Basic White, Crumb Cake & Early Espresso CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist & Flirty Flamingo Blends Markers; White Gel Pen; Stylish Shapes Dies; Strawberry Slush Gems; #CIC629. Oh goodness, check out our glorious rich colors this round at Sunday Stamps #372! I knew right away I wanted to do the black background sheet in our Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP for this one! My favorite sheet in the pack! And since my stamp bundle is out visiting that goes with this, lol, I pulled in Christmas Greenery instead. This is such a fun set to stamp, because of all the two-step images to play with! After I was happy with my little bouquet, I went back and covered all the remaining white space with a Balmy Blue Blend Marker - I wanted to tone down that brightness a little, lol. I did this simple sentiment from Snowflake Kisses and threw on a few new Earthy Matte Dots to finish. I cant wait to see YOUR projects with a beautiful colors - meet you at the challenge! Christmas Greenery Stamp Set & Dies and Snowflake Kisses Stamp Set; Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP; Basic White, Cherry Cobbler & Balmy Blue CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive & Shaded Spruce Inks; Balmy Blue Blend Marker; Earthy Matte Dots; #SSC372. So pretty! In{k}spire Me #573 is all about Fall/Halloween! I decided to go with Fall - I don't really mail too many Halloween cards, lol. I also wanted to feature some retired DSP - time to think that stash! I landed on this sheet from our old Rings of Love pack - so pretty! The stamp et that most approximates those leaves in my mind is the just retired Autumn Leaves bundle - such a versatile set, too. I stamped off three leaves in the colors of the DSP, and did this sweet sentiment to go with - just so pretty and calm. A few brown Swirl Dots seemed like the perfect match! Autumn Leaves Stamp Set & Dies (retired 2025); Rings of Love DSP (retired); Basic White & Poppy Parade CS; Poppy Parade, Crushed Curry, Night of Navy & Soft Suede (retired) Inks; Swirl Dots (retired); #IMC573. Loving the harvest theme at this round of Hand Stamped Sentiments #474! As soon as I spotted that little squirrel in the corner, I knew that's what I wanted to focus on, lol. I actually let the current squirrel set pass because I'm still smitten with 2023's Nuts About Squirrels - these guys are so happy! I did a background with some Autumn Toile DSP - I zhuzhed it up a little by going over the tree leaves with a Cajun Craze Blend, so it would be matchy-matchy with my guy! I tried this fun tag from Tasteful Labels, and placed my fussy-cut acorn-hugger overlapping - pretty sweet! I threw on some Linen Thread and some Vanilla Swirl Dots, since I always seem to have vanilla everything leftover, lol. Nuts About Squirrels Stamp Set (retired 2023); Autumn Toile DSP; Very Vanilla & Cajun Craze CS; Early Espresso & Cajun Craze Inks; Cajun Craze Blend Marker; Tasteful Labels Dies; Linen Thread & Vanilla Swirl Dots; #HSS474. There's a lovely gridded sketch at this round of SU Only #387! I decided to check my little stack of not-yet-inked stamps that's been building up on my desk for anything that might work - Love & Courage popped right out! That big beautiful floral image is just right for a central feature, and I combed my DSP packs for some pinks to lay behind it! Oo, another fun one at AAA Cards #301 - with an optional twist of grays - game on! After some thought, I pulled my Autumn Toile DSP - yes! There's a pretty pattern in Gray Granite in there, matched with Very Vanilla! I knew I wanted a dramatic stem to go with and over, so I pulled last year's Gorgeously Made bundle - love the dies in this beauty! I cut a leafy stem as planned, and stamped this sweet sentiment also on Gray Granite to also cut with the "tape" die in the set. A few tiny gray Riverside Pearls were the perfect complement to this! Quick and pretty, just right! Gorgeously Made Stamp Set & Dies (retired 2024); Autumn Toile DSP; Very Vanilla & Gray Granite CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Riverside Pearls; #AAA301.
