S is for Sleigh

This is a good one!  Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round for September is "R" and "S!"
This was a tough one - almost too many choices, lol.  I thought for sure I'd go for reindeer or Santa - I have lots of those!  But then I spotted Horse & Sleigh from 2024 on the shelf, and I couldn't remember the last time I inked it up!  No more!  I even still have a little bit of the gorgeous One Horse Open Sleigh DSP that came out with it - perfect for setting the sleighride scene!  I did just that, then added a sweet twiggy tree with plenty of Snowball Puff Paint, and got to coloring on my horse and sleigh image.  I've done this way more elaborately than this, but decided to go simpler today - and it's still adorable!  So fun!
Horse & Sleigh Stamp Set & Dies (retired 2024); One Horse Open Sleigh DSP (retired); Basic White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Pebbled Path (retired) Inks; Crumb Cake, Real Red, Mossy Meadow, Lost Lagoon & Barely Blush Blends Markers; Snowball Puff Paint; White Loose Snowflakes; #CCAYRSep26.

Yay!  I always have something I can finally break in at NBUS #90 - woo hoo!
Ah, the day has come at last when I can get some playtime with the Buon Appetito Collection from Spellbinders!  I swear the first time I saw one of these dancing pastas (it was a ravioli, lol) I about spit all over my computer screen laughing!  I had to have it ALL!  I started with the gorgeous Al Dente embossing folder, on Darling Duckling, then I blended on some Cherry Cobbler ink from the bottom.  Then it was time for my characters - I chose a bow-tie and a penne from the Pasta Friends dies, and knew I was gonna need some parmesan from Ingredients Buddies, too.  A basil leaf for everyone!  A little fussy, but really, great designing on the dies - the feet and arms weren't a big problem at all!  Last, this hilarious sentiment from the Stay Saucy stamp set.  Folks, I am smitten, lol.
Spellbinders Buon Appetito Collection:  Stay Saucy Stamp Set, Pasta Friends & Ingredients Buddies Dies, Al Dente 3D EF; Basic White, Darling Duckling, So Saffron (retired) Crushed Curry, Basic Black, Flirty Flamingo & Garden Green CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Cherry Cobbler Inks; Cherry Cobbler Earthy Matte Dots; #NBUS90.

Aw, First Cup Challenge #18 has a cozy inspiration pic for us this round - time for everything pumpkin!
I decided to go for Fall colors and LOTS of coffee, lol, following along with the directions of this sentiment!  It was super fun to pull out 2020's Press On stamp set, and make a big block of pretty coffees to color!  I used our new Tile Garden Dies for my fancy coffee square, and took my color inspiration from the ever-gorgeous Timeless Plaid DSP.  I seem to be hitting the hot drinks a lot this week, even though it's still over 100 degrees here in Arizona!  This was a fun one - always great to kick back and get some coloring time in!
Press On Stamp Set (retired 2020); Timeless Plaid DSP; Basic White & Wild Wheat (retired) CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow, Cajun Craze Calypso Coral, Lost Lagoon, Wild Wheat (retired) & Boho Blue (retired) Blends Markers; Tile Garden Dies; Boho Blue Glossy Dots (retired); #FCC18.

Oh, super yum!  Check out the "sweater weather" inspiration cookies at If You Give a Crafter a Cookie #220!
I knew this challenge called for a visit from our More Than Autumn bundle - I haven't used it yet this Fall!  I couldn't resist brewing up two pumpkin spice lattes, complete with cinnamon stir stick, lol - I think I'll need one of these soon!  I also floated everything over my favorite Fall plaid from the retired Plaid Tidings DSP pack - this sweet DSP has saved me during SO many holidays, lol - I might need to scare up another pack from somewhere, lol.  Anyway, Fall is coming - think cozy thoughts!
More Than Autumn Stamp Set & Dies (retired 2026); Plaid Tidings DSP (retired); Basic White & Blackberry Bliss CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Pumpkin Pie Inks; Blackberry Bliss, Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie & Crumb Cake Blends Markers; Nested Essentials Dies; Blackberry Bliss Transparent Dots; #Cookie220.

Lol, I love me a regular Christmas challenge, and Merry Little Christmas #70 is just in time - and always anything Christmas goes!
Possibly because of the word "little," I really wanted to play with the Christmas Mice suite today!  The DSP is even called A Little Christmas, lol.  Seems just right for MLC!  Anyway, I decided on the profile mouse today, and isn't he handsome in his Santa Hat, and toting that candy cane?  Lol, just too cute.  I decided to try one of the printed tag squares in the DSP for the sentiment, too - I think it looks pretty fancy!  Almost time for ALL the little moments!

OK, enquiring minds want to know:  how good are you at keeping up with your Christmas card ration??  Here's your chance to show off OR catch up (snicker) at As You See It #382!
So, I'm a year-round Christmas card maker, lol, and I probably turn out at least 1 or 2 every week - all these challenge blogs are a super help that way, lol.  If I can turn your challenge into a Christmas card, by golly, I will!  I think this will bring me up to about 80 Christmas cards, now, and I have plenty more to go to have enough for The Kindness Card Program, too!  Anyway, today's card is my chance to feature one last set that I haven't gotten to ink up yet, the Frosted Pinecones bundle!  The masks for this one are so perfect - this was a lot of fun to put together - and I even broke into my holiday Hot Foil!
I can't wait to see what YOU come up with, and to hear how many cards you have, lol.  Meet you at the challenge!
Frosted Pinecones Stamp Set, Dies & Masks; Basic White, Pecan Pie & Old Olive 2T CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Basic Beige, Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie & Versamark Inks; White EP; Blending Brushes; Buffalo Check & Reverse HF Plates; Green HF; Streaked Dots; #AYSI382.

Copper Deer

It's like they KNOW me over at Inkspirational Challenge #376 - the prompt this round is "furry friends!"  Yes!
I think this is the perfect chance to break in my new Graceful Evergreen Deer bundle - which features deer you can hot foil to go with these gorgeous trees!  And since there are no sentiments in it (sigh) I pulled this pretty choice from the Magical Christmas hot foil sentiments block - pretty nifty!  I set up a sweet forest background with the Whispering Woods DSP, and trimmed a scrap of it to make a little "hill" for everyone, then got to work with the hot foil.  I opted for copper on Crumb Cake, and I really like the combo!  I finished with a few copper Metallic Gems - so pretty!

Very fun - AAA Cards #323 is throwing out the letter "M" for us as a prompt this round!
I went hunting for a really GOOD "M," lol - moon? moose? mushroom?  It was hard to choose, lol.  But then I spotted our Celebrate the Miracle set and that was it - M is for Menorah!  I tried to keep it CAS, though I'm a little uncertain about my Cloud Cover background, lol.  This tiny touch of Peaceful Garden DSP should be OK, though - this one is my favorite sheet and inspired my colors in general!  The menorah JUST fits on the largest rectangle from our Nested Essentials dies, and I laid the sentiment right over the top.  I love this set!

Romans Leaves

It's tic-tac-toe time again at this round of Retro Rubber #281!
I went with the center row, and I'm afraid my desk will take a while to recover, lol.  I needed a card to give to our rector at church - he's been on fire all summer, and it has been so inspiring!  This passage from Romans 10 seems perfect to start me off, and our challenge gave me just the right design elements to take care of the rest.  I pulled some Crumb Cake to serve as my "kraft" paper, and stamped off some Vintage Leaves from 2018 for my background.  I added just the faintest washes of Cajun Craze with a water painter, too.  While I had those out, I went for the "spatter" with the biggest brush, which I've never even used!  I think I have found its calling, though my Delicata Silver Shimmer seemed to go everywhere BUT my background, lol.  I'm sure practice will improve my aim!  I then diecut one full strength leaf to tuck behind my sentiment from Simply Stamps' Pastor Appreciation set, along with some touselled gold thread.  I think my work is done!
I can't wait to see which squares you try this round - don't forget to make it Retro!
Vintage Leaves (retired 2018) & Simply Stamps Pastor Appreciation Scripture Stamp Sets; Basic White, Early Espresso & Crumb Cake CS; Crumb Cake, Cajun Crazy, Early Espresso & Delicata Silvery Shimmer Ink; Water Painters; Leaflets & Tasteful Labels Dies (both retired); Gold Thread; #RRCB281.

OK, we want to see your pink or breast cancer support cards this round at Make My Monday #287!
Since I still have my sweet Ribbon of Courage bundle from 2019, I decided to use that - such a big gorgeous ribbon!  I even found one last sheet of my favorite DSP stack pattern left in my Melon Mambo scraps folder, so I pulled that, too, lol.  I stamped up both the ribbon and the heart in Melon Mambo, then colored it solid with my Barely Blush Blend, and threw in my favorite love and hugs sentiment from the set, too.  A few Barely Blush Pearls are the perfect finishing touch!
I hope you can join us in raising awareness and celebrating the bravery of all those affected by breast cancer - meet you at the challenge!
Ribbon of Courage Stamp Set (retired 2019); Melon Mambo DSP (retired); Basic White & Melon Mambo CS; Melon Mambo Ink; Barely Blush Blend Marker; Support Ribbon (retired) & Stylish Shapes Dies; Barely Blush Pearls; #MMM287.
