Well, there's no doubt about it - this is the perfect time to pull out my carefully hoarded and still beloved Nice Cuppa suite! It's still got it - SUCH a fun set! I guess I still live in hope that this beauty will somehow come back to us again, sigh... Anyway, I decided to use a more muted sheet from the DSP, and then go all Melon Mambo on the main image - this one's for you, Sarah! Lol, she's such a pink fiend! So much fun to get this set out again, I think it needs to live on my desk for a little bit before I put it away again - you never know when another cuppa will be needed!  Love this tilty element on Try Stampin' on Tuesday #339 - I think it will combine perfectly with SU Only #183's Autumn colors challenge! I decided to dip into my retired DSP stash again for some color inspiration - I loved this Into the Woods paper so much! All this woodland theme sent me to my Vintage Leaves stamp set to go with it, and I then stole a sentiment from our lovely Painted Harvest set, too. Changing leaf colors aren't something we see to much of here in the Phoenix Valley, and I definitely miss it! We used to love going for leaf-peeping drives along Skyline Drive! On the other hand, I don't miss the allergies I used to get now that I live here in the desert, either. It's always something, sigh... I think this will be a good sketch for meeting the Less Is More #345 one-layer coloring challenge, too! Since I was already thinking botanicals, that's the stamp shelf I looked at first. I waffled for a bit between Birthday Blossoms and Birthday Blooms (lol.) Then I saw Paisleys & Posies, which I totally haven't played with since like last Thanksgiving, yikes! So out it came, and I had a good time trying to make an appealing cascade in one corner. Today's color scheme is brought to you by "whatever is left from stocking my current class stations," lol. I have an idea for adding in Just Add Ink #376's "just add 'D'" theme, too! This layout gave me a few ideas to use some items that I'm totally in love with, but that somehow don't seem to be getting out much - how does this happen? The most obvious choice for me was the beautiful accessorized door (with a "D," get it?) from At Home With You, and in honor of "Fall" (kind of an imaginary season here in the Valley of the Sun, lol) I decided to use the pumpkin door decor. I also did my sketch bands using the flat out gorgeous Wood Textures DSP, which was the first thing on my order for this last catty. But somehow, I've only used it once or twice - what gives? I think I'm secretly hoarding it for packaging class later, I guess, sigh...
