Sweet Jar

Such an amazing anniversary at In{k}spire Me #566!  I'm always thrilled to see these milestones - 14 years, wow!  In honor of that, they'd like us to pick something from the archives, and celebrate a birthday with them!
After some digging, I'm going with this cute sketch from 2022!  This is just the layout I need to break in my new Sweet Jar bundle - so fun with the punch!  To celebrate a birthday, I added some bright candles inside, so I had to leave the jar ajar, lol.  I went with my Full of Life DSP pack once again to inspire these fun colors, and floated it all over some Silver Cording Trim for some extra sparkle.  So happy with how it came out!
Sweet Jar Stamp Set; Full of Life DSP; Basic White & Pumpkin Pie CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Smoky Slate, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, Lemon Lime Twist & Daffodil Delight Inks; Sweet Jar Builder Punch; Silver Cording Trim; Sunny Day Iridescent Dots; #IMC566.

Sunday Triangles

We're headed to the diagonal this round at Sunday Stamps #365!
I knew his one would be all stamp, ink and paper for me to get the sketch details just right!  I had to pull some of my older die sets, too!  I found my old Stitched Triangles dies to get the main shapes - how about some happy rainbow colors to do them in?  Full of Life DSP to the rescue!  I decided they'd really pop over black, but I added a little texture first with the Metal Plate EF - though I did end up going with the deboss side, lol.  When I spotted this big cheery sentiment in our new Peace on Earth set, I knew it was a winner - though I had to use my old Stitched Shapes Dies to cut it out, lol.  A few Iridescent Black Pearls make the perfect accent, I think!
I can't wait to see what YOU come up with for our angular sketch - meet you at the challenge!
Peace On Earth Stamp Set; Full of Life DSP; Basic White & Basic Black CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Stitched Triangles & Stitched Shapes Dies (both retired); Metal Plate EF; Iridescent Black Pearls; #SSC365.

Such a lovely floating sketch this round at Hand Stamped Sentiments #467!
This seemed like an awesome chance to try out my brand new Just A Note stamp set and dies - oh, the dies!  They are, of course, the whole reason I got this bundle!  I mixed in some Timeless Plaid DSP, as well, to help inspire some colors!  I started by choosing my plaid, and then setting up my little notebook sheet.  So easy to tie some Linen Thread around this!  I did a little stack of sentiments, stamping off as I went, and then cut some cute office supplies to add, lol.  Who wouldn't want a Misty Moonlight binder clip??  Or Lost Lagoon paper clips?  Especially when I can finish with Lost Lagoon Rainbow Dots?  Pretty cute, I think!
Just A Note Stamp Set & Dies; Timeless Plaid DSP; Basic White, Mossy Meadow, Misty Moonlight, Smoky Slate & Lost Lagoon CS; Mossy Meadow & Lost Lagoon Inks; Forever Plaid EF; Linen Thread; Lost Lagoon Rainbow Dots; HSS467.

So yummy - for July, If You Give a Crafter a Cookie #206 is seashells at the beach!
A great set for all kinds of fun beach details is still last year's Beach Day stamp set - love all the little extras I can play with!  First I set up a beachy backdrop with some Pool Party and layered torn edges of Crumb Cake.  I did a little row of stamped off shells across one, but they're a little hard to see, lol.  Next up, I needed to decide what was in my beach haul this trip!  Beach chair, check, Umbrella, check.  Sand Castle?  Yes!  Surf boards?  Yeah!  Then I tucked in a couple palm trees and called it good, lol.  The "sunshine" sentiment was a perfect fit in the space left over!  I can hear the waves, can you?
Beach Day Stamp Set & Dies (retired 2025); Basic White, Pool Party, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Lemon Lime Twist & Granny Apple Green CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Crumb Cake Inks; Real Red, Timid Tiger, Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy & Crumb Cake Blends Markers; #Cookie206.

Time for another round at NBUS #76!  So glad I have something new to get inky!
One of the many super cool things about going to my girlfriend Sarah's crafting retreat, is that I get to play with all her stuff, lol, especially the different stamp sets she got from me, lol.  I didn't bite on this new pear suite, Perfectly Pears  I have other pears, so I decided to wait.  Lucky for me, Sarah brought it along, so I decided to play with it!  So fun!  I even had a pear sheet left in the Sale-A-Bration Fruit Salad DSP pack, so I went with colors from that, and had myself a time!  I really liked the look of stamping off a couple times to get the colors right, and I had to try out the little netting die, too.  So fun to play with new toys!
Perfectly Pears Stamp Set & Dies; Fruit Salad DSP (retired); Basic White & Early Espresso CS; Early Espresso, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight & Garden Green Inks; Early Espresso Stamp-n-Write Marker; Daffodil Delight Blend Marker; Neutrals Sequins; #NBUS76.

Woo hoo!  The Male Room #200 (BIG milestone!) is having and dogs and/or cats challenge!  My fave!
I pulled my Hot Dog Stamp Set from 2021 for this one - still one of my faves!  It reminds me of my Grandmother's dog, Pretzel - he was such a sweetie!  I also pulled in some scraps from the Thoughtful Journey DSP - you can never have too much purple!  I had some fun adding tracks along all the scraps, and then, I pulled in this cute sentiment from a blog-challenge-won Newton's Nook set called Say Woof - it has some super great dog thoughts in it!  A few White Transparent Dots finish things off.  Woof! Woof!
Hot Dog (retired 2021) & Newton's Nook Say Woof Stamp Sets; Thoughtful Journey DSP; Basic White & Blackberry Bliss CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Blackberry Bliss Inks; Blackberry Bliss, Crumb Cake & Basic Black Blends Markers; Stylish Shapes Dies; Transparent Dots; #TMR200.

You can call us Mellow Yellow this round at Retro Rubber #259!
I knew right away that I wanted to use our old Wonderful Moments stamp set from 2020 - so many fancy ladies!  I went with this pretty one and gave her some balloons to share for a birthday - perfect to use our bold colors!  I did her dress all bright in Shaded Spruce, and two colors of yellow for her balloons.  Fussy cutting her after the coloring really adds some pop for the dimension, too!  I floated it all over some layered Deckled Rectangles and included a layer of DSP in Blueberry Bushel to pick up one more color!  Fun times!
I can't wait to see what YOU make of our fun colors - and don't forget to make it Retro!
Wonderful Moments Stamp Set (retired 2020); Blueberry Bushel DSP (retired); Basic White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Shaded Spruce, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lolly, SU400 & Nude Blends Markers; Deckled Rectangles Dies; Tinsel Gems; #RRCB259.

We want to see some kind of embossing this round at Make My Monday #256 - dry or heat!
I knew this was a splendid chance to pull out my glorious hybrid embossing folder for the Sunrise Sailing bundle - I've always wished I knew how to sail!  I kept it all super simple to let the embossing really shine - just an embossed panel in Cloud Cover over Misty Moonlight, dressed up with a bit of Craft Whisper White Ink, and some Misty Moonlight sponged on the waves - the touches of ink really bring out the emboss relief, I think!  I finished with this pretty retirement sentiment and some tiny "Waves" rhinestones - love it!  I even embossed the waves onto my envelope flap!
I can't wait to see YOUR embossing adventures - meet you at the challenge!
Sunrise Sailing Stamp Set & EF; Basic White, Misty Moonlight & Cloud Cover CS; Whisper White Craft & Misty Moonlight Inks; Sponge Daubers; Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels; #MMM256.

I really like the challenge theme this round at Time Out Challenge #292 - perfect for summer, too!
I went over my retired shelves for some likely looking travel sets - a little suitcase?  An airplane?  Then I spotted my old Parisian Beauty bundle, with its glorious Eiffel Tower die, and I knew I wanted to use that!  It even had this lovely "magnificent adventure" sentiment - perfect for travel!  I couldn't stop thinking about how wonderful that tower would look against a glorious sky, so I went through my Everyday Skies DSP pack and found this dusky evening sky - love it!  I floated it over some Blackberry Bliss, added my tower in Cajun Craze, and tied it round with some Blackberry twine - gorgeous!
Parisian Beauty Stamp Set (retired 2020); Everyday Skies DSP; Basic White, Blackberry Bliss & Cajun Craze CS; Blackberry Bliss Ink; Parisian Dies; Blackberry Twine; Transparent Dots in White; #TOC292.

What a great color challenge to launch on July 1 at Shopping Our Stash #551!  Red, white & blue!
I definitely wanted to do something NOT Independence Day, since we're past it by a bit now - how about something with layered tags?  I'm picturing this card as a birthday note for my SIL, who celebrates a July birthday, hopefully she's not sick of red, white and blue, lol!  I pulled out my Paper Tags set, and decided to try out this other sentiment in Blueberry Bushel on White, but layered in Real Red, with a layered background, too.  This splendid polka dots are from LAST year's DSP stack, and this fun stitched ribbon is from our old Playful Pets Trim Combo.  I tried to place the ribbon so I could pull the bow up through the tag opening - cool!
Paper Tags Stamp Set & Dies; Blueberry Bushel DSP (retired); Basic White & Real Red CS; Blueberry Bushel Ink; Playful Pets Trim Combo Ribbon; Solid Faceted Gems in Blue; #SOS551.
