 Yay! Time to see some summer fun at Make My Monday #255 this round! While going through some shelves this week, I came across this cute bundle from Newton's Nook called Beach Bound - I think I won it as a prize from a blog challenge, used it once, and then forgot about it, lol. How perfect is it for today's challenge, though?? I set up a sunny background with a sheet from the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP pack - I think this was from a past Sale-A-Bration, lol. Next I paired up these two summery sentiments, and added the surfing jeep in between - so fun! I can't wait to see what YOU get up to for summer fun - meet you at the challenge!  Such a cool beachy inspo picture at this round of Time Out Challenges #291! I checked over my retired ocean sets, and quickly realized that I think it's been WAY too long since I had Seaside Notions out! I still love this set so much - these images just can't be beat! I set up my embossed backgrounds of a Seabed heart over some Soft Waves, and got to work on my shells, coral and sea horse. So fun! I colored everything a bit more boldly then usual with my Blends, and then {GASP} I cut them all out at once with my Scan-N-Cut - I'm such a rebel! Took about 2 minutes flat, and saved about an hour of fussy cutting, I think, lol. I love how it came out, especially after I threw on a few blue Riverside Pearls! I'm super excited about Shopping Our Stash #550, called "a stitch in time" - they want to see stitching on our cards! I knew right away that I wanted to use our retired Stitched Greenery Die - I don't pull that one out too often and it SO shows off some stitching! I also felt like some fun color today, so I ran a sheet of the Full of Life DSP pack through with it - I think the stitching shows enough! I added a stitched sentiment tag from our Paper Tags bundle too - stitching everywhere, lol. I finished with a few Tinsel Gems, too. I couldn't resist doing these colors up in fine Arizona Cactus style - with a little help from my old Flowering Cactus bundle from 20211! I still love this set, and I do still have some carefully hoarded DSP for it, too, but I needed these colors, so I went for a bright shock of colors over White! Most of the cacti in my yard actually do bloom in these colors, lol. I finished with some heavy Garden Green twine, and a few Melon Mambo gems - pop-pop-pop! I can't wait to see what YOU come up with for our fun colors - meet you at the challenge! I went to the Shelves of Retirement for this one, and quickly spotted my A Fish & A Wish set from 2023 - I still love these fishies! I spotted them out in blogland recently and was reminded to look them up for this one, lol. Anyway, I made them a pretty ocean background with some stamping and stamping off on a sheet of DSP from the Full of Life pack - looked great with Pretty Peacock, even though that's not in the colors! I stamped up my little trio in different colors, and then finished with some Opal Rounds - so cute! There's a sweet little cameo sketch at Sketch Saturday #778 this round! I decided to play with the shapes a little for this one, and I was able to pull in our upcoming Prairie Grass set while I was at it! This is a sweet stamp set with beautiful grass silhouettes in a range of sizes, and 5 comforting sentiments to go with. Not only for sympathy, by my read, just for loving comfort in any needed situation. These images look awesome over our botanical Thoughtful Journey DSP, too, I'm really finding a lot of ways to use that lately! With the circle elements, I knew I wanted to use our new Encircled With Love set - I love a good punch set! I did up my background in all the colors, and found some DSP scraps to mix it up with, too! A big Blackberry Bliss sentiment takes center stage! I finished with a few Peach Pie Dappled Dots just because I can't resist embellishments, of course, lol. So quick and fun! Oo, FarmQuest #72 has the fabulous theme of sewing or embroidery! Yes! I knew I had to pull out my Christmas Quilt bundle for this one - so much stitching in here! I stamped up a quilted star to go with this gorgeous patchwork sheet of the Full of Life DSP, and then added a thread spool and needle also from the dies - so fun! Then I doctored up this little Tailor Made Tag die for the sentiment, so it would be stitched too! I'm surprised how much I'm liking these colors together! Today I could hear the Country Flowers stamp set calling to me, lol, which was lucky because I think I can work in all the colors with that one! I set up my base layers with some Night of Navy and White, then went to town coloring in these sweet flowers for the teapot vase - so cute! My grandmother used to read me a bedtime story about an old teapot that got rescued to be a flower vase after it lost it's lid - this so reminds me of that! That top panel would be perfect for the awesome new Halloween set, Fright Night, I figured! So except for not really having that floating sentiment, I stuck pretty close to the sketch - so fun to make a spooky set of layers! I struggled a bit because my entire stash of Halloween papers has apparently gone walkabout, sigh, but then I remembered this candy corn colored plaid in my old Plaid Tidings pack - whew! Hopefully those papers turn up, but I'm still really happy with how this turned out!
