The Male Room #187 has a great challenge for us this month - to use ribbon or twine!
I went a little bit backwards in my design today, and decided what ribbon I wanted to use first, which was this first-run Mini Striped Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon - love this stuff!  What guy card could I make with this one?  Something in greeeeeen - hey, how about Sweet Peas again??  Bwahaha!  Now THIS is the combo that I actually got this set for - look at that little frowny pea-face!!  I crack up every time I even think of it, lol.  I went back to my Full of Life DSP pack for a likely green sheet, and it all took off from there.  Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green together are SO growing on me!  So to speak, lol...
Sweet Peas Stamp Set; Full of Life DSP; Basic White & Granny Apple Green CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Lemon Lime Twist & Granny Apple Green Blends Markers; Nested Essentials Dies; Lemon Lime Twist Mini Striped Ribbon; Shiny Sequins; #TMR187.

I'm excited to see a sketch at this month's The Flower Challenge #92!
This card turned out to be one of rare "no stamping" creations, lol, made easy peasy with our new "Mix & Match" line!  I wasn't feeling any of my current flower sets (shh!) so I turned to some open packs I had already to see what there was in the flower department!  I found these two brush-stroke type flowers in Fully Flowering, and floated it over this scrap strip of Soft Seam Foam on Flirty Flamingo - so much more pink than I usually do, lol!  I also added this sentiment from the Saying Something pack - it was hard to choose!  I'm really happy with how this came out - this mix and match thing can be fun!
Fully Flowering & Saying Something Ephemera Packs; Soft Sea Foam DSP; Basic White & Flirty Flamingo DSP; Eyelet 3D EF; Pretty in Pink Resin Dots; #TFC92.

We sure love our tic-tac-toe at Retro Rubber #233 - come join us!
Studying the grid this round, I knew I wanted to do something that included the "summer" square, and I used that to hunt for a summery stamp set!  I landed on the super cute Sunny Splash, that retired in 2023 - I love these retro swimsuits so much!  I used my Nested Essentials dies to highlight each suit, popped on some Shiny Sequins,  and once I started heat-embossing my sentiment, I realized I could do a second row if I added some twine!  Sold!  It all looks so summery over my old Sunshine & Rainbows DSP, too!
I can't wait to see YOUR fun tic-tac-toe projects - meet you at the challenge!  Don't forget to make it RETRO!
Sunny Splash Stamp Set (retired 2023); Sunshine & Rainbows DSP (retired); Basic White & Melon Mambo CS; Bermuda Bay (retired), Mango Melody (retired), Melon Mambo & Versamark Inks; White EP; Nested Essentials Dies; Melon Mambo Twine; Shiny Sequins; #RRCB233.

We want to see some outdoor summer fun this round at Make My Monday #228!
I'm so excited to finally be able to ink up my new Let's Wander set - hiking the mountains is definitely some outdoor summer fun!  I pulled a sheet of my old-and-still-beloved Enjoy the Journey DSP pack - these mountains are so dramatic!  Next up I stamped and colored the hiking boots, which seem like the right gear for this mountain, lol, then fussy cut them.  The amazing sentiment floats above - it should be our motto!
I can't wait to see what YOU come up with for our outdoor summer fun theme - meet you at the challenge!
Let's Wander Stamp Set; Enjoy the Journey DSP (retired); Basic White & Garden Green CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Crumb Cake & Basic Black Blends Markers; Garden Green Baker's Twine; Rustic Metallic Dots; #MMM228.

Wow!  Shopping Our Stash #523 has a SKETCH for us - my first one with them, I'm pretty sure!  Exciting!
As usual when I'm taking apart a sketch, I assume pretty much every element is "any shape," and I also tend to nudge those elements around, too, lol.  You can see that pretty clearly in what I cam up with for today's card!  I had a nice little stash of items left over from my By Your Side kit, which also had its own stamp set.  Isn't this Bassett Hound the cutest?  I even had one of the kit hearts for him, lol.  I dug through my scraps folders and found this old Mossy Meadow DSP sheet for my background - a good color for a hound!  I wanted to change the other shapes a little too, so I ended up using this cutie from Nested Essentials - love it!  Such a fun experience!
By Your Side Kit Stamp Set; Mossy Meadow DSP (retired); Basic White, Crumb Cake, Copper Clay & Basic Beige CS; Early Espresso Ink; Nested Essentials Dies; Basics 2 EF; Linen Thread; (dog diecut & heart embellishment from kit); #SOS523.

This will be fun!  AAA Birthday #62 wants it CUTE!
To me, "cute" means critters, lol, so I went for a peek through my critter sets!  One I haven't used in a while is the punny Way to Goat set from 2022 - every one of these guys is a real character, lol.  I pulled out some pretty DSP from my Full of Life DSP pack - love these big colorful dots - and balanced my sassy goat on his cheeky birthday sentiment.  So fun to fussy cut this guy!  I finished with a few Petunia Pop Resin Dots - they just seemed to go, lol...
Way to Goat Stamp Set (retired 2022); Full of Life DSP; Basic White & Berry Burst CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate & Berry Burst Blends Markers; Stylish Shapes Dies; Petunia Pop Resin Dots; #AAAB62.

What a sweet inspo list at Festive Friday #161 for Alzheimer's Awareness Month!
Since my pre-order for the next wave of Online Exclusives just arrived, I checked those first for anything that might fit.  Once I spotted this "thinking of you" sentiment in Frosted Forest, I knew it was the one!  I know a lot of folks might say, "another tree set?" but this one has some extras that we haven't had before, so I went for it! Besides lovely stamps, sentiments and coordinating dies, this one ALSO has a set of masks for the trees, and I've been enjoying the floral ones recently so much, I knew I needed to try this!  I think it's really lovely!  I did a super simple layout, and focused on this one splendid tree.  Hopefully this card reads as CAS, because that's what I was going for, lol.  I also added blue, in my bird, a simple ribbon tie, and finished with some Smoky Slate Pearls.  Love it!
Frosted Forest Stamp Set; Basic White & Basic Beige CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Pecan Pie, Lemon Lime Twist & Granny Apple Green Inks; Azure Afternoon Blend Marker; Frosted Forest Dies; Frosted Forest Masks; Lemon Lime Twist Mini Striped Ribbon; Smoky Slate Pearls; #FF0161.

Wow, Time Out Challenges #265 has a wonderful floral quote from Matisse to inspire us this round!
This quote reminds me so much of watching my Grandmother in her garden - she loved flowers and growing them so much!  As I went through my florals - not so many yet, lol - I spotted this wheelbarrow full of flowers ready for their new spot, just like she used to do!  I had to use it!  I selected a sheet from the now-retired Meandering Meadows pack, and floated my layers over that.  I took my color cue from the background to color the blossoms, and made a bright barrow for them!  Just right!
Garden Meadow Stamp Set; Meandering Meadows DSP (retired); Basic White & Crumb Cake CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Orchid Oasis (retired), Smoky Slate, Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green & Daffodil Delight Blends Markers; Garden Meadow & Radiating Stitches Dies; Brass Birds; #TOC265.

Yay!  In{k}spire Me #535 has a super cute combo for us this round - look at all those purples!
I kept things fairly simple today, and hit the purples hard!  I dug out my very last sheet of my favorite retired Blackberry Bliss stack - this plaid was just so amazing!  Then I did a single big zinnia, and colored it up with the remaining purples, and finished with some silver accents - super quick, too!  Such a great layout!
Simply Zinnia Stamp Set; Blackberry Bliss DSP (retired); Basic White & Blackberry Bliss CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Berry Burst & Highland Heather Blends Markers; Simply Zinnia Dies; Silver Cording Trim; Smoky Slate Pearls; #IMC535.

We have an elegant layered sketch for you this round at Hand Stamped Sentiments #440 this round!
I was thrilled to get to use one of my new sets on this one, AND some new DSP!  I'm still not sure this set will ever make it into a class, lol, but I had to have it!  Say hello to Sweet Peas, which I floated over the brilliant Full of Life DSP.  These little guys just make me crack up!  All their little "pea" sayings are a riot, too - can't wait to use "Hello, GrumPEA!"  I stamped and colored up with my Blends, then fussy cut for extra impact - it's a party!
I can't wait to see YOUR cute cards with our fun sketch - meet you at the challenge!
Sweet Peas Stamp Set; Full of Life DSP; Basic White & Shaded Spruce CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Shaded Spruce, Lemon Lime Twist & Balmy Blue Blends Markers; Deckled Circles Dies; Pretty Peacock Tinsel Gems; #HSS440.
