Yay - Make My Monday #176 wants us to show off some "summer fun!"
I KNEW I would kick myself for not getting the bathing suit set yet, lol!  I finally dug out this super cute set from April 2021 for Paper Pumpkin called So Cool.  I really wanted to see all these popsicles in our new In Colors - it just had to be!  I did an all-over random layout of these guys, and just went to town with all my Blends - don't they look refreshing??  Too fun, and I just popped the "cool" sentiment right on top.  Time for the pool now...
So Cool (Paper Pumpkin April 2021) Stamp Set; Basic White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Tahitian Tide Inks; Tahitian Tide, Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, Orchid Oasis & Starry Sky Blends Markers; #MMM176.

Woo hoo!  I am thrilled to see that CAS Christmas is back at it - you can never have too many Christmas challenges, lol.  This month's theme is "wreath!"
I decided to go with my still-beloved Arrange a Wreath set from last year - I just love the dies still!  I did a quick layered wreath in two colors, and finished with a pretty bow in Cherry Cobbler.  My perfect merry sentiment fit right in the middle!  Quick, simple and a fun look back!
Arrange a Wreath Stamp Set (retired 2021); Basic White, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive & Cherry Cobbler CS; Cherry Cobbler & Old Olive Inks; Wreath Builder Dies; #CASChristmasWreath.

WOW!  We have some super cute inspiration cookies this month for If You Give a Crafter a Cookie #169!  Let's play some music!
I dug out my Country Livin' set that retired in 2019 - I kept this cutie just for the guitar, well, and the cowboy boots, lol.  Next I looked for a likely sentiment to go with, and settled on this one Dragonfly Garden.  I think all these bright guitars ARE inspirational, lol!  I had some fun coloring them up in my Blends, and finishing with a Tailor Made Tag for the sentiment.  I think it came out really cute!
Dragonfly Garden & Country Livin' (retired 2019) Stamp Sets; Basic White & Crumb Cake CS; Memento Tuxedo Black &Versamark Inks; White EP; Bermuda Bay, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Basic Black, Real Red, Granny Apple Green & Pumpkin Pie Blends Markers; Tailor Made Tags Dies; Linen Thread; #CC169.

Belated Birthday Piggy

Now THIS is when you need a speed challenge - when you're late already!!  Jump in with us for belated birthdays at As You See It #277!
Maybe it's cheating a tiny bit, but I hedge my bets a little by getting all my stuff out and ready ahead of time.  So I started by searching for a "belated" sentiment!  I had to go to the shelves of retirement for Itty Bitty Birthdays to find this one, and since I wanted to combine it with something current, I pulled This Birthday Piggy to go with.  My usual trick of letting the DSP do the talking made me pull out my Tea Boutique pack, and snag the Deckled Rectangles for the heavy lifting.  I pulled my Blends ahead of time, too.  Started the clock, ran to the cutting machine, layers done, whoops, forgot the sentiment, so I quick chopped it out of the center of the base layer, lol, then turned it sideways and nipped off the end to make it shorter.  Back to the desk for coloring and assembly - how much time left?  Enough to heat emboss the sentiment?  It would look so much better!  Going for it, aaaaaaand - DING DING DING!  9 minutes, 44 seconds.  That was close!
I can't wait to see YOUR projects - meet you there, timer in hand!
This Birthday Piggy & Itty Bitty Birthdays (retired 2021); Tea Boutique DSP; Basic White & Sweet Sorbet CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Versamark Inks; White EP; Petal Pink, Sweet Sorbet, Crumb Cake & Daffodil Delight Blends; Deckled Rectangle Dies; Sweet Sorbet Matte Dots; #AYSI277.

Ringed With Nature

Excellent timing - Less is More #466 is running a "masculine" theme this week!
I still have a stack of preorder items to play with out on my desk, so I did a pass through them for any likely "masculine" themes, lol.  I settled on Ringed With Nature, which has so many accessories!  There's dies, a hybrid embossing folder, and a DSP pack, Ringed With Love, in Sale-A-Bration.  Since this is for LIM, I stuck with stamps and dies, lol.  I did a little bit of corner detail backed by the tree rings stamp, and did a little paper-pieced branchlet with an acorn.  Fun!  At the last second, I added a few Brushed Metallic Dots to finish things off.  So maybe not as "Less" as I could have been, lol!
Ringed With Nature Stamp Set; Crumb Cake, Basic White, Soft Suede & Old Olive CS; Soft Suede Ink; Tree Rings Dies; Brushed Metallic Dots; #LIM466.

So excited, I finally get a chance to play at NBUS #39 - I just discovered this fun challenge!  NBUS stands for "Never Before Used Schtuff!"  And I certainly have enough of that for a challenge or ten, lol.
I decided to break into my holiday catty preorder of Trees For Sale, and Tree Lot, the over-the-top die set available in the upcoming Sale-A-Bration, that goes with it.  I have to be honest, I was a little meh about the stamp set - until I laid eyes on those dies, lol.  WOWZA!  There is so much here, I have to restrain myself!  This is the simplest first card I could come up with, lol, and I have so much more to come with these beauties!
Trees For Sale Stamp Set; Granny Apple Green, Cherry Cobbler, Basic White, Shaded Spruce, Silver Foil, Pool Party, Basic Black & Early Espresso CS; Granny Apple Green & Cherry Cobbler Ink; White Gel Pen; Tree Lot Dies; #NBUS39.

I really hope you like my great outdoors theme for summer at this week's Hand Stamped Sentiments #391!  Should be fun translating it into our fun sketch this week at Try Stampin' on Tuesday #560!
I knew right away I would be pulling in my fave sheet of DSP from he He's the Man pack - I think this camping sheet is the best one in the whole catty, lol.  Thanks to the awesome diecut sheets included, this is also another one of my rare no-stamping cards, too, lol.  I squeezed in a touch of stitching for my banner, and at the last second, I added this fly-fishing rod and reel - just right!
I can't wait to see YOUR projects for our fun challenges - meet you at the campground!
Nuts About Squirrels (birthday sentiment inside, lol) Stamp Set; He's the Man DSP; Basic White, Early Espresso & Galvanized Metallic CS; Rugged Icon Dies; Banner Pick a Punch; #HSS391; #TSOT560.

Another fun combo at this week's In{k}spire Me #479 - Can I make both sides work?  I don't know about those colors, lol.
Turns out, YES, I can, thanks to a little help from my Holiday Catty pre-order, lol.  I had so much fun inking up my brand new Sweet Candy Canes set - these colors were just right for a soft and lovely holiday card!  I'm loving these candy canes especially, because you get two, each one facing the other direction, AND, dies to match!  Perfect!  There's a tasty DSP that goes with, too, but today was all about the colors, lol.
Sweet Candy Canes Stamp Set; Petal Pink, Basic Black & Very Vanilla CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Flirty Flamingo & Bermuda Bay Inks; Candy Cane Dies; Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon; Very Vanilla Sequins; #IMC479.

Yummy!  We have a juicy summer  fruit color challenge for you at this week's Sunday Stamps #285!  Does anyone else see the new In Colors??
Well, I definitely do, so I'm running with it, lol.  This seems like a good chance to pull in my beloved Rainbow of Happiness set, too - I am SO SAD that this is retiring!  This was by far our easiest rainbow to use, for me, anyway, lol, and it definitely will be getting a home on my retirement shelves!  I kept things really simple, showing off those bold colors over our lovely Tahitian Tide, and pulling in my new Into The Clouds embossing folder.  I'll have to experiment with making that more visible, lol.
I can't wait to see YOUR projects with our fresh colors this week!  Meet you there!
Rainbow of Happiness Stamp Set; Basic White, Basic Black & Starry Sky CS; Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis & Starry Sky Inks; Into the Clouds EF; Rhinestone Basic Jewels; #SSC285.

Flippin' Awesome Tag

Time for a new challenge this month at The Male Room #163 - "tag!"  Fun!
This actually comes at a good time for me - looks like we have finally settled on the new grill, set to arrive during the man month of June, lol, and this little token I can hang from the grill cover will be just right!  I sandwiched together three layers - the two outside ones are the front and back of our brilliant He's The Man DSP, and one of the printed diecuts from the specialty pages.  The "filling" is a smaller tag for me to write a little love message on.  This sentiment is also little joke between us, arising from the day I learned the word "guapo" on my Duolingo app, lol.  As in, Hola, Guapo!  Giggle.
He's All That Stamp Set; He's the Man DSP; Cajun Craze & Sahara Sand CS; Early Espresso Ink, Tailor Made Tags Dies; Crumb Cake Heavy Baker's Twine; #TMR163.
