Exciting layout over at Create With Connie & Mary #411 this week! Can't wait to play!
Now, oddly, this card reminds me a lot of yesterday's card, lol, mostly because of pulling out lonely thinlets for the sentiments, lol. This one is from the Seasonal Frame thinlet set - so many good words in this one! I paired it up with a put-together phrase from Crazy About You, and I'm all set! And by the way, Serene Scenery is officially my fave DSP right now - so many awesome ways to mix and match these prints!

Love this blocky layout at this week's Match the Sketch #129 - I'm combining it with this blue challenge over at Pals Paper Arts #305!
Initially I was a bit intimidated by "all the layers" for this sketch, but when I broke it down, I realized it was not that bad, AND, that it makes for an eye-catching and harmonious layout! I'm so pleased with my final result, and pleased that I was able to sneak in a thinlet that I don't get to use enough, too!

Another lovely sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #241! Let's try it with Watercooler Wednesday #72's 2016 In Color Challenge!
We had so much fun at my recent "Let's Get Messy" class, that I decided to try out some other patterns in my old Irresistibly Yours DSP - I think I might have to break down and get the current papers, Irresistibly Floral! Our new sponge brayers are a dream, too - rinse right out for repeated use! Anyway, after making my leafy background, I made a few flowers to scatter around - I'm pretty pleased with the result! I think of these colors as actually made to go with all our OTHER colors, not each other so much, but it can definitely be made to work!

Today I think I'll try matching Try Stampin' on Tuesday #275's sketch with Can You Case It #124's watercolor challenge!
Another set I haven't used in a bit is the sweet Helping Me Grow. I so love this set because it reminds me of all the hyacinths my Grandma used to plant when I was a kid - those springs smelled so sweet! She'd plant all three colors - white, purple and pink - I don't think I ever saw any other colors... Anyway, some quick play with the aquapainter, and we're all set!

Here's another fun sketch from Retro Sketches #218! I think I can squeeze in Merry Monday #209, too!
I decided today was the day to break out our new holiday DSP, This Christmas. I don't know if you've noticed, but this is a DOUBLE pack of DSP for only $2 extra, making it a large enough pack to knock out a whole bunch of Christmas cards! The weight of the paper is slightly lighter than our regular DSP, but heavier than that newsprint we used to have - just dreamy! I couldn't resist pulling out my retired {SOB} Cups & Kettle framelits to meet the Merry Monday challenge, but still, super fun!

Yay - it's time for Pumpkin Day again over at MPC0616-All About the Guys! This week I'm also using this sketch from TGIF #59!
I can't seem to get enough of this new In Color, Dapper Denim! I think it's perfectly named, because I think of it as a very comfortable blue, lol. Today it seemed just right for a little stenciling background for my Layered Letters "Dad" - another comfie word, lol.

This fun sketch from Pals Paper Arts #304 sure has a lot of movement! I'm pairing it with Create With Connie & Mary #410's colors, too!
I ended up having to do a quickie for this one - with hubby gone camping, I am definitely out-numbered around here for the duration! I decided to grab a set I haven't used too much, Kinda Eclectic. I figured the sunburst stamp could be nice background element for the sketch, and once I had it out, I decided to go all eclectic all the time, lol! Tried to dress up my butterflies a bit - can you tell I have candy dots still that need to move along??

Look at all the layers on this sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #240! MAJOR pretty paper opportunity here!
I knew right away that I wanted to feature the GORGEOUS Moroccan DSP papers. Which I only felt I could get because Stampin Up! actually GAVE me the accompanying stamp set Moroccan Nights at On Stage Live. Because, shh, I don't think the stamp set would have made my personal wish list, so I probably wouldn't have gotten the paper. And of course, now that I have them both, I totally love them. How does SU! know that about me? What I really like even when I don't like it?? Sigh. Anyway, got my paper fix in today - yay!

Here's a fun sketch from this week's Try Stampin' on Tuesday #274! I'll combine it with Merry Monday #208's kid theme!
I have to say, I found the whole "make a card for a child" concept pretty challenging for a Christmas card! Um, I don't send cards to kids for Christmas, I realized, lol! After some dithering, I decided that Snow Place had some fun kid elements, and then I thought of giving my little snow-guy a snow cone - totally never realized that was in that set! Finally, I have used the little pieces framelits how they're supposed to be used!

Today's fun sketch is from Sunday Stamps #128, and I think I'll add in Global Design Project #39's "get well" theme, too!
Searching for a sentiment, I came across my beloved Lovely Amazing You set. Avid fans may remember the time BEFORE photopolymer stamps, and when SU! was slowly releasing a set a month to test the waters on whether or not they wanted to start offering them - this was one of those sets!
