 I totally love Cathy's extra idea for our challenge at this month's My Pumpkin Challenge #0614 - Birthday Bash - to bash our Pumpkin stash! I have Pumpkin Guts all over, too, so here goes! I think I have an idea for sneaking in the TGIF Challenge #6 to use watercolor, too, shhh... I have a shocking amount of leftovers from the All Shook Up kit, especially when you consider how stinkin' cute that one was! I sort of feel like I took a cheater approach here, too - all I did was bring in a sheet of watercolor paper, so I could do a multi-color wash background under my adhesive sentiment. Still, I think it's striking! I added a few sequin details from the original kit, and also pulled in some pink ones from the Seriously Amazing kiit. It was horrifying to also realize that two of these colors are retired, now - wah! All Shook Up & Seriously Amazing Paper Pumpkin Kits; plus, Bermuda Bay, Strawberry Slush (retired) & Pistachio Pudding (retired) Inks; Watercolor Paper; PL Corner Rounder Punch.

 Yay - SU-per Challenge #92 is here to help me stretch my rep to cards in different sizes! I so need help with that! I'm combining with Create With Connie & Mary #358's color challenge, too - so subtle and pretty! I think I should make this the year of the Envelope Punch Board! Because using it made it so "SU-per" easy to make an off-size card base, it's a little embarrassing that I've resisted for so long! After looking over what DSP I had in the challenge colors, I chose a 3 1/2" x 6 1/2" card base, so that I only needed an 8 1/4" square for my envelope. So stinking clever! I'm always so proud of myself every time I use it, I should get it out every day, lol, so good for my ego... After that, I decided on a pretty little baby card, and things took off from there - it's ducky time! I decided that today I wanted to play with my Sheltering Tree set. I LOVE this stamp set so much! It reminds me a little of my very first stamp set with Stampin' Up, A Tree For All Seasons. I had so much fun with that set, and as soon as I saw Sheltering Tree, I knew I had to have it! I want to spend some SERIOUS time with this one, and make sure I hit ALL the seasons! Think I'll toss in the colors at this week's Nacho Average Challenge #144, too! I think the finished card ended up being very different than my usual style - whatever that is! I was really flying by the seat of my pants here, and just sort of made some stuff and played with it like a puzzle. I was worried the colors would clash or look to Christmas-y, so I ended up leaning on the Old Olive and Tempting Turquoise with only touches of Real Red. All in all, though, I like this whimsical look! Today I think I'll try to match up with In{k}spire Me #200's awesome "sigma" inspiration - happy 200th birthday to them! This wound up being a pretty straight-forward interpretation of the sketch, using elements directly out of the kit! I always like to play up the full range of the colors the kits highlight, too. I SO can't wait to get my "Updated Essentials" piercing pack - hopefully I'll have circle templates that match the framelits now!  This is a cute little sketch from this week's Just Add Ink #264! I think it'll match up lovely with SU-per Challenge #91's gorgeous colors! I had to go back and revisit Perfect Blend today - I'm going to miss this set so much! Adding touches of my fave Blackberry Bliss was fun, too - I settled on this combo of colors on the cup, finally, lol. Little purple coffee cups all over my office? Why, yes! I also noticed that I seemed to have some washi tapes sitting around in the correct colors, too - I have such a hard time remembering to use it, I decided to go for broke with it today!
