Goodness, how could I not participate in something called National Wine Day! Thank goodness Festive Friday #184 is keeping me informed, lol! Rather than focus on wine, though, I decided to pull my Bubble Over set from 2019 - love these bottles, and I think I can hit a few items on the inspo list with it for sure! I stamped up a couple of pop bottles, one in Cherry Cobbler and one in Real Red, and I swapped out the colors for the extra details, too - I'm thinking cherry sodas and sarsaparillas here! I added some cute bubbles, and some Cherry Cobbler berries, and some (shiny!) silver bottle caps to each bottle, too, of course, lol. I'm pretty sure this is a "drink themed sentiment," too, so I'm counting that item as well, lol, giving me 5 hits! Yes! Bubble Over Stamp Set (retired); Cherry Cobbler DSP; Basic White & Cherry Cobbler CS; Cherry Cobbler & Real Red Inks; Bottles & Bubbles Dies (retired); Cherry Cobbler Berries; #FF0184.

I sure hope you guys like my colors this round at Retro Rubber #255 - I had a hard time picking! Browsing the shelves of retirement, I landed on 2022's Cactus Cuties today - love the bold buildable images - so Retro! I think I managed to squeeze in all 5 colors - what fun! At first I did too much - three pots was too crowded, but these two are just right! I did go ahead and fussy cut everything - so much dimension always adds a pop, as do the Textured Notes dies for my layers! I'm so happy with the finished look! I can't wait to see YOUR colors flying - and don't forget to make it Retro! Cactus Cuties Stamp Set (retired 2022); Peach Pie DSP (on envelope); Basic White & Peach Pie CS; Bermuda Bay (retired), Granny Apple Green, Calypso Coral, Peach Pie, Flirty Flamingo & Memento Tuxedo Black Inks; Textured Notes Dies; Peach Pie Shimmer Gems; #RRCB255. I'm so excited by our gardening theme this round at Make My Monday #252! I decided to go back to our beautiful Garden Meadow set for this one - and to combine it with the Meandering Meadows DSP, too! Made for each other, I think, lol. I chose a pretty scene, and floated it over some retired Orchid Oasis, so I stamped my sentiment in the same, and even colored a pair of galoshes in it, too, lol. I have always wanted a pair of Orchid Oasis wellies! I added a watering can, and a couple hand tools, so this gardener could get right to work! I can't wait to see YOUR gardening cards - meet you at the challenge! Garden Meadow Stamp Set & Dies (retired 2024); Meandering Meadow DSP; Basic White & Orchid Oasis CS Retired); Orchid Oasis (retired) & Memento Tuxedo Black Inks; Orchid Oasis (retired), Crumb Cake, & Gray Granite Blends Markers; Nested Essentials Dies; Orchid Oasis Iridescent Pearls (retired); #MMM252. EEE! You KNOW I had to play this one - my birthday is on May 4th!! I love that Time Out Challenge #288 is all about Star Wars Day!! So, I got a little saucy with this one, lol. To go with my Kindred Stamps Galactic Sidekicks set, I couldn't resist this Sexy Space sentiment collection, too, lol. I had to give Yoda a wing-man for this one, too - I've been wanting to color up a Chewbacca since I got this set! I set them in the mountains of Tatooine (which totally did NOT set off my spell-checker, how about that) and had fun with the coloring. And shhh, on the inside it says, "don't be afraid to use the force on me," lol - maybe this could be next year's anniversary card, since we're such Star Wars nerds here, lol. Kindred Stamps Galactic Sidekicks & Sexy Space Stamp Sets; O Holy Night DSP (retired); Basic White, Basic Gray & Smoky Slate CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Mossy Meadow, SU200, Color Lifter, Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate, Basic Black & Pretty in Pink Blends Markers; Scenic Adventure Dies; Adhesive-Backed Stars (retired); #TOC288. OK, now I can't get that song out of my head - Shopping Our Stash #547 has a "red, red wine" theme this round! When I started poking around all things "red" in my stash, I spotted my pack of To Market DSP. This was one of the early packs that I ran a bunch of sheets through my Scan-n-Cut - I have SO. MANY. VEGETABLES. already cut and ready to go, lol. Including these bunches and bunches of tomatoes! When will I get another chance like this to really pile them on?! Lol, so tomatoes it is, or is that tom-ah-toes?? Anyway, a great way to feature red, for sure! Market Goodness Stamp Set; To Market DSP; Basic White & Real Red CS; Real Red Ink; Tasteful Labels Dies; Transparent Dots; #SOS547. Such a fun one we have this round - we want to see dots or stripes at As You See It #348! Naturally, I went for dots, lol. I had to show off this dotty sheet in the Turtle-y Cute DSP pack again, too - I'm almost out of it already! Love it! It took me a while to decide how else I could carry the dotty theme in the image and sentiment. Then I finally hit on a way to COMBINE that, and out came our Layered Letters Alphabet from 2016! I almost fell over when I realized how old this set is - I really though it was more recent than this! Yikes! Anyway, it made for the perfect way to add a little color to a to-the-point greeting, lol. Very fun! I can't wait to see YOUR dots or stripes this round, too! Meet you at the challenge! Layered Letters Alphabet Stamp Set (retired 2016); Turtle-y Cute DSP; Basic White & Darling Duckling CS; Balmy Blue, Darling Duckling, Flirty Flamingo & Memento Tuxedo Black Inks; Around It All Dies; Balmy Blue Twine; Darling Duckling Flat Pearls; #AYSI348. These gorgeous cookies reminded me SO MUCH of the fabulous dies in our old In Bloom bundle, I headed straight for the set to start cranking out some flowers! I did a background in Crumb Cake, sort of like the basket, but I remembered to use my Stitched Greenery die on it, at least. Did the envelope flap with it, too - so cool! Next up some flowers in all those sweet colors - I pulled in Pool Party, Calypso Coral and So Saffron, with a couple small White ones - not quite too cute to eat like the inspiration, but very pretty all the same! In Bloom Stamp Set (retired 2022); Basic White, Crumb Cake, Pool Party, So Saffron & Calypso Coral CS; Calypso Coral Ink; Stitched Greenery & Pierced Blooms (retired) Dies; Calypso Coral Iridescent Gems; #Cookie204. Class is on for Saturday, May 17 at 2 pm - RSVP now to save your spot! I am loving all the landscape sketch these days, like this beauty from Sketch Saturday #775! And there's even a tilty panel! I realized quickly that this cute sentiment from Motherhood Mottos would fit perfectly, so then it was just a matter of building some layers around it! I chose this bright sheet from our just-past SAB paper pack called Toadstool Gardens - the pattern sides are so bold! I stuck pretty tight to the sketch layout as well, but I did pop up my sentiment on one of our Textured Notes dies. The Sunny Day Dots were perfect for the corners called out in the sketch! Dots AND stripes - perfect! Motherhood Mottos Stamp Set; Toadstool Gardens DSP (retired); Basic White & Melon Mambo CS; Melon Mambo Ink; Textured Notes Dies; Sunny Day Dots; #SS775. Class is on for Saturday, May 17 at 2 pm - RSVP now to save your spot! So excited - CAS on Friday #308 is having a black, white and ONE color challenge this round - these are so fun and dramatic! I ended up going ULTRA CAS for this one, lol. I started by searching for good images to stamp in black and white, but that I could add a splash of color to - it was tougher than I thought! When I spotted my Trusty Tools set, which has been a little lonely lately, lol, I wondered how I could add color that made sense to some of the tools. The paintbrush really stood out to me - do I have any "swooshes" I could use for paint? Turns out I did, and a big search for the sentiment ensued. I went with retirement, because I remembered a co-worker once telling me that he didn't really retire, he just changed bosses, lol. He landed a big "honey-do" list when he got home! I guess it stuck with me, lol. Trusty Tools, Gone Fishing & Sheltering Tree (retired 2019) stamp sets; Basic White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Real Red Inks; Iridescent Discs in Real Red; #CASOF308. Class is on for Saturday, May 17 at 2 pm - RSVP now to save your spot! So glad to play again this month at NBUS #74! So many fun new toys! So this pretty Scenic Adventures bundle has been burning a hole on my desk for a couple few weeks now - I was so smitten with the super dramatic scenery dies for this one! And look how cool it looks over our Everyday Skies DSP - a match made in Heaven! I built my scenic layers from the bottom up, with a meadow and a tree line, then the majestic mountains behind all that. At the last second, I placed some big fir trees in the foreground, too. It felt so risky stamping my sentiment directly onto the DSP, but I'm super happy with it! So fun! And there's even more landscaping dies to play with, too! Scenic Adventures Stamp Set & Dies; Everyday Skies DSP; Basic White, Balmy Blue, Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green, Smoky Slate, Basic Gray & Old Olive CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Holographic Resin Dots; #NBUS74.
