 Woo hoo! Shopping Our Stash #548 is back with a new challenge called "by the numbers!" We just have to use at least one number on our card! I had a vague memory of a set of fun numbers that came in an old Paper Pumpkin, so I set out to dig for those, and I found them! In March 2019, the Pumpkin's anniversary month, the bonus set was Counting The Years, featuring all these dotty numbers! They went with the Poppin' Birthday stamp set that was the kit offering - a cute match! I decided to do a numerical background, in our retired Moody Mauve, and then laid over that a shadowed diecut sentiment from 2020. I just used it in a class, lol, so it was on top of my die bin! I finished with some Matte Black Dots for a little extra!  Super excited we have another speed round at As You See It #349 - with a theme of water! I have to admit, I browsed my water-themed DSP stash first, but, I really felt like stamping something out today, lol. Enter Under The Moon, which must have retired while I wasn't watching, lol. So fun to create scenes with it! With a little strategic stamp pad opening, and block mounting of stamps, I got myself all set up to go - AND I already had a mask for the moon tucked inside the stamp case! I quickly settled on this sweet sentiment from You Are Beautiful to go with, too, and started my clock! Stamping went smoothly and quickly after I quick die-cut my layers - even the sentiment! Then I had to go back and do the envelope (doh!), and throw on some embellies! Done at 6 minutes and 45 seconds! Not too shabby! I spotted an idea for using the big swirly circle to create a show-stopping background and went from there! I love the drama involved here, perfect for setting off that venerable tree, and this title sentiment has stolen my heart as well. Stamps, Ink and paper - all a girl needs! So fun! Here's another fun sketch from Sketch Saturday #776! So many cute details! I decided to start with the paper for this one - all those elements needed a good DSP to help me along! One paper that seems to be a niche design for me is the Storybook Moments set that has a whole suite to go with - I really don't tend to use vintage-look elements very often, so this DSP is in danger of spending too much time sitting around! I twisted my own arm to get it out there, lol. Then I realized that there was a die shape that could totally fill the banner, and I was off! It's all about the Mossy Meadow today for me, though I though these blue Solid Faceted Gems were a good tie to the background of the carrot diagonal. Whew! I still have so many birds ready from our gorgeous Nests of Winter DSP, I decided to go with that, and I made this little CAS layout to show off a little chickadee friend! Since his little pine boughs looked so green and crisp, I matched the sentiment in Shaded Spruce, too, and finished with a few clusters of Cherry Cobbler Berries. When I was looking over the sentiments, I remembered that I had popped in that coordinating Paper Pumpkin stamp set, too - yay! I'm really liking the simplicity of this card, and still so festive! Wow, a gorgeous combo over at In{k}spire Me #562 this round! Love all those greens and blues, and yay for arches! I went straight over and grabbed my Everyday Arches dies, but I had to really mull over the rest of the elements. I finally found a sheet of Balmy Blue in my Otterly Adorable DSP, and sort of let the colors fall where they could after that. Once I hit on a big beautiful Soft Sea Foam leaf for my shape, I knew I would make it, lol. I pulled the sentiment from the same set - the Autumn Leaves bundle! I knew I could freshen it up a bit with non-fall colors! I popped on a couple more details to really make sure my colors read ok, and I think it worked out well! Such a great sketch this round at Try a Sketch on Tuesday #670! I can't wait! After a little thought, I realized I could fit in our pre-order set for our Creativity Now event next month! We were offered the upcoming Peaceful Garden suite to go along with the event, and it will be released to all in the Holiday Mini this year. It's gorgeous, all soft blues and neutrals, with a mix of sentiments, and lovely dies, too. There's DSP, ribbon, embellishments and a coordinating embossing folder as well - and I almost forgot the glimmer paper mix! A lot to keep track of, lol. Anyway, I loved this floral sheet, and picked out the torn edge with the delicate wines and leaves in the dies. Instead of the ribbon, I went with some Night of Navy Linen Thread, and I finished with some Hues of Blue Flowers, but the white ones, lol. I think it all looks gorgeous over the Basic Beige, too! The Male Room #198 has an "under the sea" theme this round! I'm in! While I've been rocking my Ocean Friends suite hard lately, for this one I wanted to go back to the gorgeous Sea of Textures set from 2020. A little moodier, and such fun dies! I paired it up with our also-retired By The Bay DSP, and I couldn't resist this gorgeous fish swirl sheet with eth gold accents! I stamped my sentiment directly on the DSP, and went to work on my octopus. I used a Blender Pen to smudge up his arms a little, and then went back and picked out all the suckers in a little black - I really like the look! I gave him some netting to float over and finished with our Antique Pearls. So pretty! Very nice! AAA Cards #290 is turning 11, and WE get to celebrate with an "anything goes" birthday! Let's do this! I decided to take a look at the Racing By set - one that I think I've only touched ONCE before today, lol. I decided to pull in some checkered paper from my Timeless Plaid DSP pack, too - kind of like a checkered flag was my thinking... Accordingly, I carried the checkered them by choosing the car body that had some checked details on it, and stamped it in Misty Moonlight to coordinate with the DSP. I wanted a pop of color, though, so I slipped over to my Legendary Ride dies for a little flameout action in Daffodil Delight, and then added a few Daffodil Glossy Dots, too. I think still CAS enough - and definitely fun!
