Browsing through my sets for a good "friend" sentiment, I came across Bamboo Beauty - definitely a set I don't use enough! Now, how to keep it CAS? Hopefully this fits the bill, while keeping some soft bamboo colors! I got away with only stamping and fussy cutting one bamboo pole, and just snipping it in half for some extra stems. One little foliage sprig finishes it off! I couldn't resist a few Faux Sea Glass shapes for a tiny bit of extra detail!  I'm so excited to bring back some favorite flowers for this week's Retro Rubber #182! I know I can add in a birthday for it for SU Only #301, too! Going back through the Shelves of Retirement, I quickly came across Jar of Love, which retired in 2019. I still love this set! I decided on the medium jar, and added some stems for my bright blossoms in Poppy Parade. Simple and quick - this set when it first came out was the one that taught me to play with stamping off more - such an impact! I added my fave birthday sentiment from Peaceful Moments, some glitter dots, and I was done! So sweet! I can't wait to see YOUR projects for our challenges this week - meet you there! I spent some time calling up some happy mom memories of my own, and finally decided what really came to mind for me was PRESENCE. The best thing about mothers is "being there," and being part of their children's lives, in a supportive, loving way. I did a quick dig through the embossing folder bin, and quickly hit on our gorgeous Seashells EF - I LOVE this one, so detailed and organic! I also found some leftover pieces of the Pearlescent Specialty Paper that was released at the same time - yay! I quickly cut some layers, ran my pearly piece through the folder, and went to town with my sponge daubers, all in our Subtles range. So, so pretty! I did sneak in the new die shape again from the Natural Prints set - I have a feeling I'll be using this one all over the place! I have been loving samples I've been seeing using the masks out and about - I had to try it! For today's card, I did a little corner business with the flower masks in Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody, and finished with some little leaves in Granny Apple Green - so yummy! I'm delighted with how easy this was to use! I finished with a few of our new Glossy Dots in Daffodil - perfect! Since I didn't get the lovely ranunculus stamps (sigh) I went with my still beloved Artistically Inked set - and I'll even sneak in some of the now-retired and gorgeous Expressions in Ink DSP. I'll be hoarding this stuff for a while! I did this lovely pink background with traces of gold, so I added some gold foil leaves around my stamped blossoms and leaves - just so sweet!  Ahhh, Time Out Challenges #212 has a gorgeous Spring inspiration going this week - yay! Today I decided to do one more farewell post, I have so enjoyed all the details in Birds & Branches! I couldn't resist two-step stamping this little pretty on her nest, with a few eggs - simple and quick, even with the dies! I snuck in this happy little sentiment from Many Messages - I'm sorry to see this one go, too - such a fun tag die plate for it! I'm all about the possibilities!
