We have a lovely bold sketch for you this week at Fab Friday #187!  Bring on the fun shapes!
I'm actually sticking with suggested shape - and I never do that!  I don't know what happened, but I also don't use my awesome Stitched Nested Labels as much as I should, so oh well, lol.  I also haven't pulled out my Free As a Bird suite in a bit, and I SO wanted to aqua-paint today!  I just love these sweet little guys all lined up on their pretty branch, I think they make for a handsome card!
So, I can't wait to see what YOU come up with for us this week - see you at the challenge!
Free As a Bird Stamp Set; Bird Ballad DSP; Whisper White, Crumb Cake & Basic Black CD; Memento Tuxedo Black, Versamark, Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz, Calypso Coral & Petal Pink Inks; Shimmer White EP; Aqua-Painter; Stitched Nested Labels & Rectangle Stitched Dies; Gold Pearls; #FabFri187.

Look how pretty Hand Stamped Sentiments #336's cheery color challenge is this week!
It took me a while to settle on a stamp set for this one - but gosh, I really can't remember when I Iast used Above the Clouds, so that's our winner today!  I kept it fairly CASE here, plain White card base, and few stamped off clouds for my background, and kept the focus on these bright cheery balloons - I even fussy cut some bunting!  I added my very last three retired Enamel Shapes hearts in Daffodil, too - going out with a loving bang!
Above the Clouds Stamp Set; Whisper White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight & Pool Party Inks; Hot Air Balloon Punch; Daffodil Delight Enamel Hearts (retired); #HSS336.

Oh gosh, The Library Challenge #56 got a huge laugh out of me this morning when I saw the cover - I bet this is a funny story!
I immediately thought of my beloved Best of Cluck set, of course - was there any doubt??  I had this anatomically improbable lady in mind from the get-go, lol, but maybe I should have added a parachute somehow, too!  Anyway, any excuse to bring out the chickens, and I'm all over it!
Best of Cluck & Chicken Wire Stamp Sets (retired 2006); Whisper White, Real Red & Crushed Curry CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Real Red, Crushed Curry & Old Olive Stamp-n-Write Markers; White Gel Pen; Vegas Gold Fantastic Ink; Stitched Shapes Dies; #TLC56.

Such a fun sketch we have this week at Try Stampin' on Tuesday #452 - time to go shape hunting!
I decided to dip back into my wonderful Timeless Tropical suite for this one, especially once I saw our extra "flower power" challenge!  I'm determined to use some of the papers that are a little intimidating for me, too, so I came up with these sheets in various greens to set off my plumeria - yum!  I finished with a few tiny gold pearls to spiff us up!
I can't wait to see YOUR creations for this one - I hope you can join us at the challenge!
Timeless Tropical Stamp Set; Tropical Oasis DSP; Whisper White & Grapefruit Grove CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; So Saffron & Petal Pink Blends Markers; In the Tropis & Stitched Shapes Dies; Gold Pearls; #TSOT452.

Goodness, Less is More #416 is going to train me up right one way or another with this week's "one layer - no sentiment" challenge!
I decided to make this one a fun play on sending happy thoughts - and who better than the mailman?  "Delivering sunshine your way!" is on the inside!  So super simple, this is hard for me, lol.  I ended up aqua-painting all my color - I didn't want my beloved blends to bleed through, since this one-layer - so many little challenges in this stripped down card!  Still, a fun exercise - now I have to put this away before I stick more stuff on it, lol.
You Always Deliver Stamp Set; Whisper White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Night of Navy, Pool Party, Soft Suede, Petal Pink & Real Red Inks; Aqua-painter; #LIM416.

I'm loving our slanty split sketch this week at Sunday Stamps #228!
I jumped right to my beloved Honey Bee set when I started thinking about what fun shape I wanted to use for our sketch - of course the bee hive is perfect for it!  I even still have a little bit of the Golden Honey DSP left, too, here's one of the blossom sheets, and I got a little fancy coloring and popping up a few of the little blooms!  You can spot one of our upcoming awesome new embellishments, too - I'm using our upcoming gilded gems for my flower centers!
I can't wait to see what YOU will create with our tilty sketch - see you at the challenge!

Very cool, As You See It #222 is another one of their creative recipes - it's been a bit since I've gotten to play with one of these!
With this recipe, I knew I needed to figure out how I could knock off multiple items at once, so I knew right away I wanted to bring in Flowering Foils to do that!  In one fell swoop I covered flowers, patterned paper and something shiny, lol - and then all I needed to do was add a die shape and some ribbon!  This one ended up being a strangely simple card, for all the coloring was so tedious, sigh - it's a strange color combo for me for no other reason that I realized that I had never used my Call Me Clover Blends, lol.  Still, fresh and pretty - all we need!
Peaceful Moments Stamp Set; Flowering Foils DSP; Whisper White & Calypso Coral CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight & Call Me Clover Blends Markers; Stitched So Sweetly Dies; Calypso Coral Shimmer Ribbon; Iridescent Sequins; AYSI222.

Excellent, The Sisterhood of Crafters is ready for some SPRING this week!
This seems like a great chance to finally use my Sending Flowers die set - I haven't pulled it out yet, lol.  This is one of those die sets that's great for big negative space layers - I did try using one of my old circle dies to make it a frame, but it almost doesn't fit on a card front that way, lol.  Finally I floated a card front layer over the gorgeous Purple Posy gingham sheet in the In Colors DSP stack, and used that as my cue for more fresh Spring colors.    I'm so pleased with how this simple card came out so sweet!
A Wish For Everything Stamp Set (inside); Purple Posy DSP; Whisper White, Daffodil Delight & Purple Posy CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Old Olive Blend Marker; Sending Flowers & Word Wishes Dies; Basic Jewel Rhinestones; #TSOCSpring.

Time for another Tic Tac Toe at this week's Retro Rubber #131!  There's always so many possibilities with these!
After my usual dithering, I ended up with the center horizontal row:  embossing - diecut - twine.  I got the idea for using our lovely Heirloom Frames while thinking about combining the embossing and cutting - duh!  Our frames are MADE for that!  And I sure don't use them enough!  Of course, they work SO much better now that I broke down and got the "blue plate" for SU!'s detailed folders, lol.  Next up was to pick a stamp set to go with, and I knew I wanted to choose a strong sentiment to highlight in that frame.  My Plant Hope set from 2010 is just right, and this quote from Lucy Larcom is the whole reason I have saved it all this time, such a perfect thought!
Plant Hope Stamp Set (retired 2010); Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla & Pear Pizzazz CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake & Old Olive Blends Markers; Heirloom Frames Dies; Heirloom Frame EF; Very Vanilla Baker's Twine; Gilded Gems; #RR131.

This one is going to be a fun one!  Time for the critter challenge at Sparkles Christmas Challenge #111!
I really wanted to try for a different critter for this one - I love my reindeer and penguins, don't get me wrong, but they already get lots of ink time, lol.  But my little sheep from Barnyard Babies?  Not so much, so here's their chance!  I went on a masking spree, and built this cute flock, and then dressed up one extra festive - there's one in every crowd, right?  Super simple and bold colors really carry this cute set...
I can't wait to see YOUR cute Christmas critters this month - see you at the challenge!
Barnyard Babies Stamp Set (retired 2015): Whisper White, Basic Black & Real Red CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Basic Black, Smoky Slate & Real Red Blends Markers; Stitched Shapes Dies; Polka Dot Basics EF (retired); #SparklesCritters.
