Watercolor Wishes Class 4-21 & 23!

Hello from the high seas, dear ones! We are having SUCH a fabulous time! I can't wait to dish on every little thing when I get back to you, lol. From here on out, I have to warn you, posts might start getting a little spotty, lol, while I get back on schedule.
In the meantime, I figured I should go ahead and post our next class, which we'll do as soon as I get back from convention next week!

For April, we're finally going to get around to playing with the gorgeous Watercolor Wishes Card Kit - it's amazing! This kit contains EVERYTHING you need to make 20 fabulous cards, of all occasions! And of course, there's plenty left over, too, lol. You can see the details on page 155 of "the big book," but you get the kit, a stamp set (exclusive to this kit!), a block and two colors of ink, all for $35. It's totally worth it!
So, class is announced for Thursday, April 21 at 630 pm, or Saturday, April 23 at 3 pm, for $35. I will have your kit, and any possible extra supplies if I really go off the rez, waiting for you, plus snacks and drinks! There's a distinct possibility, too, that there might be some sneak peekin' that comes home with me from convention! RSVP today to reserve your kit!

I really like the sketch at this week's Try Stampin' On Tuesday #264!
I decided to do some pretty flowers for this one - I love the Birthday Blooms stamp! You can fussy cut this sweet blossom down a little, as I have done here, or go all crazy and leave in all the little extras - choices, choices! I also love this sentiment, but the shape is tough for me. Trying it out with this punch today - what do you think?

So excited to be on our first week of the March kit - Pocketful of Cheer! It's so cute we decided to play on the theme, so welcome to MPC #0416 - Pocket Full of Surprises! And I think In{k}spire Me #243's sketch is perfect for pockets!
So how about a feature that has a gift card right on front? Hopefully you can find one that coordinates color-wise better than the Starbuck's card I had, but still, fun construction! What's in YOUR pockets??

Love this cute sketch from Pals Paper Arts #294! I think we need a big bold flower for it!
It doesn't get much bigger and bolder than the gorgeous Blended Bloom blossom, either. This time, I stamped on my color, in this case, Calypso Coral, and added a bit of shading to the petal curls, I doctored up the center with a few different markers, and added a layer of Wink of Stella over all - I like the effect!

Love this bold sketch from Freshly Made Sketch #230!
I have to say, I snickered the whole time I was making this straight-forward card, lol. I'm actually away on a cruise right now, (we sailed Sunday) and this sentiment "sometimes it's better not to remember..." is one my husband and I are saying to each other pretty much every meal and snack we plow through, lol. And we haven't even had chocolate night yet!

Lovely layers at this week's Match the Sketch #118!I'm matching it with Create With Connie & Mary #400's colors - I had originally put it with another sketch, but designs overtook me!
I had so much fun playing with Banner Blessings a few days ago that I went back to it again today. I remembered that there were a couple starry papers in the Going Places DSP stack, too, which brought in the color challenge. This card just assembled itself, I have to say!

Here I am with Stamp Ink Paper #41's wedding theme - yay!
I TOTALLY knew I was using Beautiful Ride for this one, lol, did you have any doubt? I even made my gorgeous Blushing Bride Bug sparkly with some Wink of Stella - I wish the shimmer photographed better! So much fun!

I found another stamp set I haven't used in a while - Vintage Leaves. What if I used it in these sweet colors? I landed on this little leaf wreath, completed with a big old "happy!" I think my upcoming vacation is starting to sink in, lol...
