Good times - AAA Cards #309 is for another 1 plus 1 challenge - cool!
I knew right away I wanted to do a sheep card, lol - Woolly Friends has been missing the ink!  I set up a simple Spring background of grass and tulips, and did a soft gray lamb (stamped off TWICE!) to pop up on top - everything went so smooth with all the fill in stamps and pieces!  I opted for Lemon Lime Twist and Pretty in Pink for my Spring colors, lol.  Not sure if I've done too much from the graphic here, now that I think about it, lol.  But so cute!
Wooly Friends Stamp Set & Builder Punch; Basic White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Lemon Lime Twist, Pretty in Pink & Smoky Slate Inks; Smoky Slate & Pretty in Pink Blends; #AAA309.

We have the freshest Spring colors for you to play with this round at Retro Rubber #267!
I couldn't help but think Easter on this one, and our old Excellent Eggs from 2024 was just right to color!  I started with a background set up of Bubble Bath DSP over some Melon Mambo, then I clipped a little strip of grass from Granny Apple Green with our Fringe Scissors!  From there, I decided to do TWO eggs to color from the stamp set, and I went to town with Bubble Bath, Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green and Mossy Meadow Blends - so relaxing, lol.  I tried to tuck them into the "grass" when I was done, lol.
I can't wait to see YOUR fresh Spring projects this round, too - and don't forget to make it Retro!
Excellent Eggs Stamp Set & Dies (retired); Bubble Bath DSP; Basic White, Melon Mambo & Granny Apple Green CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Bubble Bath, Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green & Mossy Meadow Blends Markers; Stylish Shapes Dies; Fringe Scissors (retired); Pink Sequins; #RRCB267.

Yay!  We want to see you use some twine or ribbon this round at Make My Monday #273!
So I have a ribbon that came with my berry jar suite  it's so pretty and I haven't used it yet!  Since it's so checkery, I decided to match it with the backside of a sheet from the Timeless Plaid DSP pack!  I've also resolved to try and use Basic Beige more in my neutrals line-up - look how pretty it is with Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy!  I haven't used my Paper Tags bundle in ages, so I did this little quickie for a manly birthday - then I turned around and put flowers on it, lol.  Still very handsome!
I can't wait to see YOUR ribbon or twine projects!  Meet you at the challenge!
Paper Tags Stamp Set & Dies; Simply Said Stamp Set; Timeless Plaid DSP; Basic White, Basic Beige & Night of Navy CS; Misty Moonlight Ink; Misty Moonlight Checkered Trim; Hues of Blue Flower Embellishments; #MMM273.

Gorgeous Sunday

Check out our beautiful moody colors this round at Sunday Stamps #381!  I was so relieved when one of my teamies clued me in that these are based on the Lovely Blossoms DSP - somehow it makes it so much easier to see!
However, naturally, I didn't get that DSP, lol.  So I built my own ideas based on some sheets in the still-available Peaceful Garden DSP, which has three of the colors, too!  I only needed to add Old Olive and Petal Pink - no sweat!  Inspired by the botanical style of the inspiration colors, I pulled a couple die sets to help fill in:  my stems come from 2024's Gorgeously Made dies, and my little blossoms are built from the Apple Blossoms dies of the same year.  I've been eyeing this sweet scripty sentiment from our product-of-the-month set Fabulous Sayings since I first got it.  A little awkward to diecut, though, so I opted for a tilty layer behind it.  Worked perfectly!  A few Secret Sea Flat Pearls finished things off!
I can't wait to see YOUR take on our pretty colors - meet you at the challenge!
Fabulous Sayings Stamp Set; Peaceful Garden DSP; Basic White, Secret Sea, Crumb Cake, Old Olive & Petal Pink CS; Secret Sea Ink; Gorgeously Made & Apple Blossoms Dies (both retired); Secret Sea Flat Pearls; #SSC381.

Service Essentials

So fun!  Festive Friday #204 has a St. Patrick's inspo list for us this round!
Right before I got started on this one, I glanced through my little stack of stamps that still need to get inky for the first time - our new Service Essentials was right on top, and I couldn't resist!  I was able to cover green, yellow, paper tearing and gold foil!  Some US Army-esque insignia seemed just right for a green and gold theme!  I feel a tiny bit nervous about this one, because my star-and-stripes is entirely fictional - hopefully it won't offend anyone - that star is kinda skirting the edge, but it's all upside down and backwards anyway!  I added a little service thank you dog tag underneath, too - I have a little pack of ball chains in a drawer that I must have picked up at some point - I though it would look cool to use the actual chain instead of a stamped one!  I can't wait to see and do more with this set - for all the branches, too!
Service Essentials Stamp Set & Dies; Season of Elegance DSP (retired); Basic White, Mossy Meadow & Basic Beige CS; Mossy Meadow & Crushed Curry Inks; Ball Chain; Earth Tone Shimmer Gems; #FF0204.

I'm excited about Seize the Birthday #321's topping this round - anything with wings!  Yay!
The DT had some good chicken cards for this one, so I couldn't resist pulling one of mine!  In my case, I'm finally inking up the rooster from the Cluck stamp set from Newton's Nook - and this one also has some AWESOME chicken sentiments, lol.  I built this one from two of my choices, and had some fun coloring my bird in a few In Colors - I really do admire a brightly colored chicken, lol.  He looks very comfie over this sheet of orange plaid from Lawn Fawn's Favorite Fall Plaid DSP pack, too.  Goes perfectly with Timid Tiger!
Cluck by Newton's Nook Stamp Set; Lawn Fawn Favorite Fall Plaids DSP; Basic White & Timid Tiger CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Darling Duckling, Real Red, Timid Tiger & Summer Splash Blends Markers; Stylish Shapes Dies; Darling Duckling Flat Pearls; #STB321.

Gold Christmas

The theme for Shopping Our Stash #568 is "golden years," and they want us to feature GOLD on our projects - fun!
I decided to browse first through my retired DSP stash - and the Traditions of Christmas pack does NOT disappoint!  I had totally forgotten about all the gold accents in this one, lol, so out it came!  I enjoyed the embossed gold foil so much on my Chinese New Year card the other day, I decided to do THAT again, too, this time on a strip with our old Wintry 1 folder - love these pine needles!  After that I heat-embossed my sentiment from the Traditional Labels bundle onto some Cherry Cobbler (sorry it doesn't photograph well at all, sigh) tucked in a Gold Hoop behind it, and finished with some tiny gold Festive Pearls - so pretty!
Traditional Labels Stamp Set & Dies; Traditions of Christmas DSP (retired); Basic White, Cherry Cobbler & Gold Foil CS; Versamark Ink; Gold EP; Wintry 1 EF (retired); Gold Hoop Embellishment (retired); Gold Festive Pearls (retired); #SOS568.

I'm excited to play back again at Papercraft Challenges #127 - and the theme this round is Hearts & Hugs!
I couldn't resist the idea of pulling in the "hugging bear from Valentine Kisses for this one, but I wanted it to be simpler, and NON-Valentines, lol.  My Perennial Lavender DSP pack was still out on the desk, so I pulled my favorite houndstooth sheet from that, and added the smallest Branching Out die layer for his backdrop.  He had to be hugging a heart, of course!  This hug sentiment from Banner Sayings was just TOO perfect, I had to use it!  FINALLY  I used my accompanying Three Banner Punch with it, too! A few purple Speckled Dots make a nice finish!
Banner Sayings Stamp Set; Valentines Kisses Stamp Set & Dies; Perennial Lavender DSP; Basic White, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake & Blackberry Bliss CS; Early Espresso Ink; White Gel Pen; Branching Out Dies; Three Banner Punch; Purple Speckled Dots; #PC127.

Oo, what a fun center-column sketch at this round of In{k}spire Me #584!
So it turns out, even though I'm not showing them, I actually also came pretty close to their colors, too, lol.  Just with a couple extra, lol.  Anyway, I started by taking a glance at my DSP stacks for that center column, and my newly arrived Painted Illusions DSP jumped right out - this pack is the February Product of the Month item available for $5 if you place an order for $75 or more - it's pretty cool!  Anyway, I checked out the cover sheet - this floral pattern, which is not usually my thing, lol.  For whatever reason, this one appeals to me - and look how sweet over Basic Beige!  It was an easy step to the delightful Faith Collection for my shapes and sentiment - I know we just started Lent, but I can't help but run ahead a little to the big day!
Faith Collection Stamp Set & Dies; Painted Illusions DSP; Basic White, Basic Beige, Pool Party & Crumb Cake CS; Granny Apple Green & Early Espresso Inks; Peach Pie Blend Marker; Antique Pearls; #IMC584.

Delightful Birthday

Ooo!  Inspire Create Challenge #210 is for florals!  I'm game!
Hm, one set of florals I still have on my "current" shelf is Delightful Wishes!  I have so many happy memories of forsythia from when I was a kid from a huge hedge of it we used to have - and it's SO Spring!  The DSP that went with this retired, and I think I gave it away, so I dug through my Daffodil Delight folder and found a couple old DSP scraps I could drop in there!  Pretty slick, I think!  I remembered that the DSP had Pool Party in it, so I couldn't resist a few details of that, too, to set off all my Daffodil, and a little Distressed Tile embossing for my background adds a lovely touch, too!  I'm really happy with how this came out!
Delightful Wishes Stamp Set; Daffodil Delight DSP scraps (retired); Basic White & Pool Party CS; Pecan Pie, Daffodil Delight & Lemon Lime Twist Inks; Pecan Pie Blend Marker; Distressed Tile EF; Layering Ovals Dies (retired); Low Profile Sparkle Dots in Daffodil Delight; #ICC210.
