Wow, LOVE this week's Merry Monday #150 - Gifts! Bring on the prezzies!
Something that really struck me about this week's inspiration cards at Merry Monday was how clean and simple so many were - I wanted to try this myself! This worked out well, because the only dramatic present stamp I could find was from my retired stash - woops! Anyway, in that spirit, I chose colors from my fave holiday DSP last year, a swooshy sentiment, and a tiny bit of bling. Not quite as clean as the gorgeous samples at the challenge, but I'm still pleased!

Fab Because...

Oh yeah! Feelin' FABULOUS! Good thing, too, because we have another fabulous sketch this week at Fab Friday #60!
Now, I know it's the first day of spring, but I was feeling a bit monochrome, you know what I mean? I LOVE this DSP Something Borrowed - the whole suite is just GOR-geous!
I have to confess, though, I really sweated this sketch - I dithered for at least two hours, lol! Hopefully I still managed some inspiration for you, because I can't wait to see your Fab creations!

Time for another clean and quick challenge at this week's Can You Case It #61! It's going to be a fun extra challenge to use Sunday Stamps #97's color challenge, too!
So this was a tough one for me, I won't lie. I was pulled in so many directions! In the end, I was most attracted to the notion that I could have as many layers as I wanted, but I also wanted to keep it "clean & quick," lol. So that's how I ended up with 4 layers of cardstock, but all the stamping one layer - weird, right? I made it up to myself by playing with candy dot colors I never use much, at least...

Easter Banner in a Box!

Time once again to check out what's cookin' at My Pumpkin Challenge #0315 - Folds, Punches & Fun!
This week, I decided I need to make something new and cute for my hall table, which will be rolling over to Easter decor soon. How about a cute little stand-up banner? Good times!
I knew I wanted to incorporate the lovely Best Year Ever DSP and ribbon, so my color choices were easy once I made that decision. I've also recently realized I haven't been inking up the fascinating What's Your Type stamp set either, and I figured the banner would give me PLENTY of room for letters made that way - Love it! I squeezed in one little word from Crazy About You, and then realized that one of the DSP patterns goes perfectly with my "type," so I had to add a little garland of that, too!

Time for another classic revival from Clean & Simple #3 - take 2!
I finally got around to picking up the photopolymer set Endless Birthday Wishes - a birthday version of our beloved Christmas set Endless Wishes, lol. It's so fun to play mix and match with all the little words and phrases! This sketch was a perfect one for having a time moving all the elements around - with just a touch of sparkle!

I really like how this week's In{k}spire Me #189 looks like a wrapped gift! Totally have to combine this one with this week's festive color challenge at Create With Connie & Mary #346!
I thought at first that I would totally go in a St. Pat's direction with this one, but, well, Easter is coming up fast, and I'm already thinking of that joyous time! It occurred to me that these are spring-y and grow-y colors, which put me in mind of our fabulous set Indescribable Gift. Then I thought about how I could color up my own DSP with the yummy Irresistibly Yours DSP, too, and it just all came together. I think I'll make a few of these to send out to all my dear ones!

Just Add Wishes

This week's SU-per #80 is a neat one - CASE the card shown! Which way to go? I think I'll try to CASE the layout, so I can sneak in Just Add Ink #254's awesome color challenge, too!
Since I wanted to use my new Lovely Amazing You stamp set, I ended up having to turn the card landscape, so I could get my envelopes image to fit. That's OK! I think it still works! Having four colors to play with made it so I could do one envelope each in a different color, too - yay! It's like we planned it together! It was also fun to trot out my new In Color accessories - the button and heavy twine. I will say, that heavy twine is WAY softer than I expected - so nice to work with!

Another great sketch at this week's Freshly Made Sketches #177 - seems perfect to pair with this week's St. Patty's color challenge at Nacho Average Challenge #132!
I of COURSE wanted to play with shape a little here, lol, and I still had my recently inked Well-Worded set out. You know, I've never used the mustache from that set either! A quick assemblage in the challenge colors, and I have a quirky St. Patty's card ready to go - that makes me giggle, too.

Oh yum! Check out the giant banner shape at this week's SU-per Sketch #79! I'm going to give a go at turning this into a Christmas card with Merry Monday #149's color challenge!
Given that I decided to go Merry with this sketch, of COURSE I had to pull out my Wondrous Wreath suite to do up that focal image - I have missed it! I kept the card pretty simple, but did cut down the base itself into the banner shape - neato! I did a light background in the Hardwood, but then kept the details really pared down to show off that lovely wreath. Couldn't resist the silver bow, though. Shhh.

Hello Life Kit Class March 14!
I hope you can join us for our awesome upcoming class project made with the Hello Life Project Kit! We're making a St. Patrick's version for our first go!

It's time for take two on Clean & Simple #2 - such a fun idea to restart their long string of historical sketches!Let's see how it goes with the lovely color challenge at Can You Case It #60, too!
Boy, did I dither on this one, lol. This color challenge really hits on ones I don't have a lot of supplies for, sadly. Finally I realized that our Painted Blooms DSP has Wild Wasabi in it, and I found some So Saffron ribbon in the retired box. I feel unsure if my "cut-out" word shows up enough - that Soft Sky is SO hard to bring out! Still, I think it's a pretty card...
