![]() Check out this super cute sketch from CAS on Friday #303! Boy, I haven't played here in forever, so cool to dip back in a little! I quickly became enamored of the idea of making the tag from DSP, and one set I haven't been using as much as I want to is the Timeless Plaid pack. These colors reminded me so much of our gorgeous Detailed Succulent stamp set - this big bloom is THREE layers! I think it came out pretty cool, and coordinates just awesome with that plaid! I stuck to the details of the sketch, and tried to leave as much white space as I could - so much fun! Detailed Succulent Stamp Set; Timeless Plaid DSP; Basic White, Crumb Cake & Soft Sea Foam CS; Old Olive & Calypso Coral Inks; Tailor Made Tags & Stylish Shapes Dies; Calypso Coral Solid Baker's Twine; Petal Pink Foiled Gems; #CASOF303.

![]() I'm so excited today to be guest designing for Farm Quest #69 - such a fun challenge! The theme this month is nocturnal animals - cool! And of course, always all country goes, lol... I was so super stoked that when I looked up badgers, I confirmed that they are mainly nocturnal! Yes! I was looking for a venue to bring out this little night-fishing guy from the super sweet Storybook Moments DSP specialty sheets! Isn't he handsome? I floated him over my favorite sheet from that pack - love these blues - and even gave him an accent frame to go over his little landscaping pieces! I think he's headed home to the missus with supper! Some Old Olive Speckled Dots are just the right finishing touch, too, lol. Anyway, I can't WAIT to see YOUR nocturnal animals at FarmQuest - see you there! Storybook Friends Stamp Set; Storybook Moments DSP; Basic White, Pecan Pie & Old Olive CS; Old Olive Ink; Storybook Friends Dies; Old Olive Speckled Dots; #FQCB69. ![]() Such an interesting combo this round at In{k}spire Me #556! Especially the sketch! OK, I'm ditching the colors and just going for the sketch, lol. I knew I could make SUCH a pretty oval shape from my Delightful Wishes set, so I started from that, and built the rest of the card around it. I did this gorgeous reverse color background from the DSP, and stamped this pretty sprig to cut out! The block shape didn't seem right for any of the set's sentiments, so I tucked in this "note" phrase from Simply Said - it goes perfectly! I finished with a few Lemon Lolly Solid Gems, just because I have a ton of them, lol. Fun! Delightful Wishes & Simply Said Stamp Sets; Floral Delight DSP; Basic White, Old Olive & Daffodil Delight CS; Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso & Old Olive Inks; Stitched Shapes Dies (retired); Lemon Lolly Solid Gems; #IMC556. ![]() Lol, I couldn't resist visiting my old teamies at Hand Stamped Sentiments #457 with colors like this! Beautiful! These colors totally remind me of the vibrant Friends of the Ocean pack, so I went hunting there first for some DSP - these Calypso stripes are just right! I still had this dotty scrap of first-run Lemon Lime Twist DSP in the vault, too, so I threw that on there as well, lol. I wanted to do something different than sea creatures, though, so I pulled my trusty Terrific Toadstools set and got to work! I did one in each color, fussy cutting the parts I couldn't punch - I think this little trio is so super cute - like a neon version of little dancing Fantasia ones, lol. So happy with these colors! Terrific Toadstools Stamp Set; Friends of the Ocean DSP; Basic White & Summer Splash CS; Summer Splash, Calypso Coral & Lemon Lime Twist Inks; Terrific Toadstool Builder Punch; Radiating Stitches Dies; Summer Splash Resin Dots; #HSS457. ![]() Time for another tic-tac-toe challenge at Retro Rubber #249! Which way to go? I ended up on the top row, because I really wanted to use "diecuts," - I am DETERMINED to use more of them from our specialty DSP packs! I have some great ones in my Wildflower Birthday pack that are just itching to be seen, so I did some chop-chopping to meet my requirements! I love how it looks, and I'm so pleased by how good a job I'm doing using up this pack, lol. However, since the DSP is super current, I knew I needed to go back in time for my stamp set! Enter my still-beloved Peaceful Moments set - I think this elegant happy birthday is one of my most used birthday sentiments ever, lol. Using my Wide Oval Punch on it made this a super quick card, too! I can't wait to see YOUR cards for our latest game - and don't forget to make it Retro! Peaceful Moments Stamp Set (retired 2023); Wildflower Birthday DSP; Basic White CS; Blueberry Bushel Ink; Wide Oval Punch (retired); Party Dots; #RRCB249. ![]() For this round at Make My Monday #246, we would like to see some stitching on your project - real or faux! What a great chance to pull out 2017's Christmas Quilt stamp set and play with some fun colors! I matched it with our new Timeless Plaid DSP for help with colors, and went with Calypso Coral and Basic Beige, all floated over a little Cherry Cobbler! I opted for some stamped stitching for my pieced bit, and I also did some Stitched Greenery over the background with that die - stitching everywhere! I can't wait to see YOUR stitching projects this round, too - meet you at the challenge! Christmas Quilt Stamp Set (retired 2017); Timeless Plaid DSP; Basic White, Cherry Cobbler & Crumb Cake CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Calypso Coral & Basic Beige Inks; Quilt Builder (retired), Stitched Greenery & Textured Notes Dies; White Baker's Twin; Earth Tone Shimmer Gems; #MMM216. ![]() Oo, check out this "ray of light" sketch from Try a Sketch on Tuesday #664! So, today's card is what happens when hubby runs in and says, "Hi sweetie! Can you make me a REALLY quick golf thank you for that guy that took me golfing last week??" and the sketch on deck is TSOT, lol. What's a stamper to do? Of course, the only answer is, "yes, dear, give me a few minutes," lol. I quick dug out my old Country Club DSP, and the accompanying Clubhouse stamp set from 2020, and threw this together. SHOCKING paper contrasts, lol, but that's what you get in 10 minutes or less, lol. I did a nice poppy circle to highlight my golf-on-tee, and snagged a thank you from the trusty Simply Said set. Perfect! And fast! Clubhouse (retired 2020) & Simply Said Stamp Sets; Country Club DSP (retired); Basic White, Night of Navy & Poppy Parade CS; Memento Tuxedo Back & Night of Navy Inks; Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate Blends Markers; Golf Club & Stylish Shapes Dies (both retired?); Smoky Slate Pearls; #TSOT664. ![]() Nice - I really like the triple image theme at AAA Cards #284! Just for fun today, I went through my little bucket of NON-Stampin' Up! items - I acquire them from blog wins, friend gifts, and sometimes, more rarely, I just have to have something that catches my eye! Anyway, today's card features Newton's Nook "Cluck" set that I chose with a blog-win certificate a while back. You can never have too many chickens! Plus, this set has "chicken butt!" as a sentiment - I had to have that, lol. Anyway, there was a stamp of this gossiping little trio of chickens that was just perfect, and I stamped "It's Your Birthday!" on the inside! Great little pairs of sentiments in this set! Always a good day when you get to color chickens, lol. Newton's Nook Cluck Stamp Set; Basic White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Lemon Lime Twist, Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, & Summer Splash Blends Markers; #AAA284. ![]() So pretty - our theme this round at As You See It #342 is BIRDS! I decided to go old school for this one, and pulled last year's Silly Goose set - love these busy guys! My favorite image is of course "goose bumps," it makes me laugh out loud every time I see it! I did some Pumpkin Pie decor from the Friends of the Ocean DSP pack, and used a couple coordinating colors from there as well - so bright! I finished with some matching twine and dots, too! I can't wait to see YOUR bird projects - meet you at the challenge! Silly Goose Stamp Set (retired 2024); Friends of the Ocean DSP; Basic White, Summer Splash & Lemon Lime Twist CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Pumpkin Pie Blend Marker; Twisted Rope EF; Pumpkin Pie Heavy Baker's Twine; Sunny Day Iridescent Dots; #AYSI342. ![]() Pumpkin Club February 22! Festive Friday #178 has an inspo list for National Pink Shirt Day - anti-bullying! I chose a few items and got going! My favorite balloons right now are still this little trio from our 2020 Wonderful Moments set - love these ladies and their expressive sentiments! This sweet sentiment seemed like a great encouragement to go with balloons, and I dressed everything up in bright pinks from our Marbled Elegance DSP - I think I have a shot of actually using all of it! Anyway, I did my layers again with the Textured Notes dies, doctoring the smaller one on TWO sides for the sentiment - I love the look of this hatching! I fussy cut my balloon girl for extra drama and finished with some pink dots. I managed pink, glossy dots, words of encouragement, balloons, and maybe hands on my girl? Hard to say, lol. Still, I love how this came out! Wonderful Moments Stamp Set (retired 2020); Marbled Elegance DSP; Basic White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Melon Mambo, SU400 & SU1000 Blends Markers; Textured Notes Dies; Sunny Day Iridescent Dots; #FF0178. ![]() Pumpkin Club February 22!
