Another set I haven't used in a while is Helping Me Grow - I so adore line drawing stems! Gorgeous to color, and dramatic as all get-out when fussy cut, lol. I played with my layers in super old color-stack DSP - it first appeared in our 2010-11 catty, I think. Yes, sigh, that's how long I've been trying to use it up. Let's just say it will likely be some years before I feel I can invest in newer DSP color stacks, lol.  This week's Merry Monday #231 challenge is to add a reindeer - I'm so excited to have so many stamp choices for this one, lol! I think I'll also combine this one with Freshly Made Sketch #271 - just right! Can you believe I hadn't yet used my Santa's Sleigh reindeer? Thank goodness I got the chance to ink her up now! She also wanted to "make a bit of an effort" (yes, we are binge-watching the entire Downton Abbey series right now, lol) so a pretty little wreath and bow is THE accessory for every discerning reindeer! Still had a bit of This Christmas DSP scrap to use, too - not too shabby for a January Christmas card! It's been quite the week for color challenges, and Global Design Project #69 has one for us, too - lovely! I'm matching it with this fun layout from Match the Sketch #159 - love that rick-rack element! I started today's card by browsing my framelits stash for a likely candidate for that rick-rack shape - alas, I didn't seem to have one. (Although, I just remembered I do on my old Tasteful Trim die - but it's too big, whew!) I did have my lovely Flourish Thinlits, and I had no trouble at all picturing the long element in silver! I decided to indulge my purple fetish today, too, and pulled out Elegant Eggplant to go with the Delightful Dijon - yum! I hunted around for sentiments of the right size for the remaining space, and came across this sweetie from Me = Grateful - just right!
