 So excited to play at NBUS #72 - I have a new (to me!) set that I've been saving just for them! A long time ago, I spotted a set of dies on someone else's card that I KNEW I had to have! After some serious digging, I discovered they were the My Favorite Things All-Star High Top dies - but they were out of stock!! I entered an email to get a notice when they returned, and forgot about it. Many months later (maybe even a year or two?) I got the email that they were re-running these from the vault - I was so excited! The dies arrived - and there they sat. What to stamp with them? I finally went to the company site to look for inspiration, and THEN realized they had a stamp set to go with, which I promptly ordered, lol. My journey to this card is a couple years in the making, but I am SMITTEN! Fiddly, but SO worth the wait! Check out my sparkly Berry Burst high-top Chucks! Swoon! I would totally wear these if they fit, lol... This gave me a giggle, Heather! It's just like in real life where sometimes we have to save up or wait for a sale to buy shoes we just have to have. Or a purse. Or card-making goodies! This was worth the wait! It is such fun and I love the color! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Hugs, Darnell These are fabulous! I spied them in Darnell's gallery and had to come give them some love. I recently made a card with green Chucks.
