Well, what the heck is that?  Hee hee.  This is a signature symbol that I made up for myself way back in grade school, and I've been using it ever since.  I even have it tattooed on my right ankle, what an empowering experience that was!  What does it mean, you ask?  Well, here goes.

Ever read Dragonsinger, second book in the Harper Hall trilogy by Anne McCaffrey?  There's a part where Menolly, the main character, describes the layout of Half-Circle Hold by holding her hand out crooked into a "C."  Her thumb and fingers represent the cove, and the webbing of her thumb represents their beach, all curled around the waters of their bay.  Well, that's where I got started.

The "C" represents land, or the earth.  The horizontal line represents, cove or bay-like, water.  The vertical line that passes over both of these represents the sky, or air.  And the little foot at the bottom of the "C"?  That's people.  A little foot-note off the elements.

Pretty weird, huh?  Obviously, I read too much as a child!

Blessed be...
