Let's head out to the Final Frontier this round with our space travel theme at Make My Monday #206! I've been waiting for this challenge to get here, so I could finally play more with my Reach For The Stars stamp set - I've been using the heck out of the DSP, but I haven't really explored the image stamps yet. I couldn't wait to stamp up this space shuttle, and I wanted to add some color details to match the awesome cosmic paper! I think NASA really needs to start adding some Berry Burst racing stripes to theirs! I can't wait to see YOUR space-faring projects for this round - meet you at the challenge! Reach For The Stars Stamp Set; Stargazing DSP; Basic White, Lemon Lolly & Berry Burst CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Berry Burst & Pumpkin Pie Inks; Blender Brush; Berry Burst Blends Marker; Reach For The Stars & Tasteful Labels (retired) Dies; Rhinestone Basic Jewels; #MMM206.

So fun - Can You Handle the Pressure would love to see something nautical this round! Hearing "nautical" sent me straight to my On The Ocean set - love the possibilities with this bundle! I also couldn't help but pull out my retired Waves of the Ocean DSP, too, lol - I think this crazy heat (even for us!) is driving all my thoughts to the sea! I added a Balmy Blue layer over my DSP, that I embossed with our new Twisted Rope EF, so love it! I think I might have covered it up too much, though, lol. I tucked in my ship and some clouds, too - stormy out there! On The Ocean Stamp Set; Waves of the Ocean DSP (retired); Basic White & Balmy Blue CS; Pacific Point (retired) & Gray Granite Inks; On The Ocean & Deckled Rectangles Dies; Twisted Rope EF; Blender Pen; Rustic Metallic Dots; #CYHTPNautical. Oo, The Library Challenge #83 has a cool cover this round - The Life and Loves of a She-Devil! This looks like an intense read - but the cover is fascinating! I decided to play with my favorite lighthouse for this one, the now-retired Lighthouse Point. I love these dies! Anyway, I went with a Night of Navy & White color scheme to honor the colors of the cover, and my girlfriend Sarah hit on the genius idea of using the Patchwork Pieces dies for my curvy "rays!" So of course my sentiment had to go on this Cherry Cobbler oval to complete the layout, lol. Not too shabby, if I do say so myself, lol. Love it! Lighthouse Point Stamp Set (retired 2023); Basic White, Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy & Cherry Cobbler CS; Night of Navy & Versamark Inks; White EP; Lighthouse (retired), Patch Pieces & Stitched Shapes (retired) Dies; Silver Pearls; #TLC83. Hah - my fave challenge is running at Retro Rubber #207 this round - "anything goes!" Now I get to bring out the good stuff! Among my oldest stamp sets are Loads of Love and Loads of Love Accessories - just the cutest little truck ever, lol. I think I only have one set older than these, lol. They haven't been out in a while, so today is their day! I pulled this cute plaid sheet of Garden Green DSP to float over Crumb Cake, stamped my truck, and picked my accessories. Who wouldn't love a truckload of cute dogs? I added myself driving, and this punny sentiment to go with, which I cut out with our fabulous new Nested Essential Dies - just right! I can't wait to see YOUR cute projects - what's your oldest stamp? Loads of Love & Loads of Love Accessories Stamp Sets (retired 2004); Garden Green DSP; Basic White & Crumb Cake CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Boho Blue, Pool Party, Real Red, Smoky Slate, Basic Black, SU600, SU700, Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie & Pebbled Path Blends Markers; Nested Essentials Dies; Loose Frosted Dots; #RRCB207. Excellent - Shopping Our Stash #496 would like us to celebrate the women in our lives with their "she's a lady" challenge - fun! I couldn't wait to ink up my new Coffee With Friends set for this one, lol. She's not super glamorous, but how else would you dress for kicking back after a major hike?? I love this image because it reminds me of a hiking trip to Mt. Katahdin I took in college. Grueling days on the trail, followed by kicking back with something hot to drink and admiring the view in the evenings, lol. It really did look like this, even from the outhouse, lol. So glad I could pull from my stash of Enjoy the Journey DSP for the setting! Coffee With Friends Stamp Set; Enjoy the Journey DSP (retired); Basic White & Melon Mambo CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Versamark Inks; White EP; SU400, SU700, Misty Moonlight, Color Lifter, Mossy Meadow, Crumb Cake & Flirty Flamingo Blends Markers; Nested Essentials & Ovals Collection (retired) Dies; Solid Faceted Gems; #SOS496. Here's a fun challenge - Make My Monday #195 is called "tag it!" I decided to grab my Greatest Journey set for this one again - I think this beauty has snuck into my favorite current set spot, lol. Today I chose to mindfully try one of the patterned sides of the DSP - they are every bit as fabulous as the landscapes! I love the organic colors of this one, and I also experimented with trying my own color coordination with it - neither Pool Party, that I layered it on, or Evening Evergreen, for my stamping, is listed as one of the colors on the pack. But I love it here! Such an inspiring suite! Greatest Journey Stamp Set; Enjoy the Journey DSP; Basic White & Pool Party CS; Evening Evergreen Inks; Greatest Journey & Tailor Made Tags Dies; Pool Party Baker's Twine; Evening Evergreen Opal Rounds; #MMM195. Enjoy the Journey Suite Focus Class! Today will be all about the gorgeous Enjoy the Journey suite, found on pages 58-59 of the Spring Mini catalog, and will feature at least 5 cards and envelopes, and maybe even a decor item! Class will provide all materials needed (bring your own fave snips and adhesive!), snacks, drinks and a special gift from me, all for $25! This class can also be FREE with your order of $30 or more! Class is on for Saturday, March 11, at 2 pm! RSVP today to save your spot! We're all about the drama with our cool sketch this round at Hand Stamped Sentiments #409! I decided a dramatic sketch needed a dramatic set, and I don't think I can beat the drama found in our beautiful Enjoy the Journey suite! I set up a simple scene on my favorite landscape sheet, with a hiker checking out the amazing view! A few clouds and milky dots add some lighting, and the sentiment seemed just right for this courageous hiker! I can't wait to see YOUR projects for this lovely sketch - meet you there! Greatest Journey Stamp Set; Enjoy the Journey DSP; Basic White, Basic Black & Garden Green CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Greatest Journey & Adorning Accents (retired) Dies; Milky Dots; #HSS409. This is a great challenge for the new year, The Flower Challenge #77 would like us to use our latest stamps or dies this round! My latest stamp set isn't actually a flower one, lol, but I can match it WITH the last flower one! I had an idea to do this combo a last week, so I'm glad to give it a try! My latest set, Stepping Stones, goes great with this garden gate image in the Scenic Garden SAB hostess set - and I even added some stones to the walkway! I hope it's flowery enough - I even snuck in some of my Dainty Flowers DSP - I wanted to use this over-size image sheet, too! So happy with how this came out! Stepping Stones & Scenic Garden Stamp Sets; Dainty Flowers DSP; Basic White & Pear Pizzazz CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede & Balmy Blue Blends Markers; Stylish Shapes Dies; Pebbles Enamel Shapes (retired) & Rhinestone Basic Jewels; #TFC77. Ahhh, LOVE our cool succulent colors this round at Sunday Stamps #303! These gorgeous colors made me want to take another try at the Picturesque set - which was made for this color scheme! I started with a Soft Sea Foam base, which I couldn't resist embossing with that Basics 3D folder again - I think this might be fave of the three, lol. Then I kept my stamping all on one layer this time, stamping off almost all my colors, and popped up the sentiment across it, cool look! I had to custom size UP this Deckled Rectangle for the saying, but a little tab of washi made that a snap! A few Balmy Blue Glossy Dots finished it off. I can't wait to see YOUR projects for our restful cool colors - meet you at the challenge! Picturesque Stamp Set; Basic White & Soft Sea Foam CS; Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, Soft Sea Foam & Balmy Blue Inks; Deckled Rectangles Dies; Balmy Blue Glossy Dots. Pumpkin Club Feb 25! I'm "tickled pink" about our new color challenge this round at Retro Rubber #199! I knew I wanted to combine white, pink and green - how to make that work? I started looking over my current shelves - full disclosure - I almost forgot to include the "retro" part of our challenge! I chose this image from our hostess set Sit, Stay, Relax and colored it in Soft Sea Foam before I remembered! Luckily, I have a wealth of retired sentiments! This beauty from 2011's Pursuit of Happiness is still one of my favorites - though they're ALL awesome, lol. I can't wait to see YOUR retro take on our beautiful colors this round - meet you at the challenge!
