Check out our Spring Flowers theme at this week's As You See It #270! So, even though it's a little bit of a "gimme" with our pretty inspiration pic, I HAD to go with our gorgeous Daffodil Daydream set for this one, lol. I love coloring in these beauties! I also wanted to make myself use one of the darker sheets in the Sale-A-Bration DSP pack we had that goes with it - I was so intimidated by them, but I was determined to break out! I'm actually really happy with how this looks, and it was good to slip in a little Easter sentiment, too! I can't wait to see YOUR projects for this one - meet you there! Daffodil Daydream Stamp Set; Daffodil Afternoon DSP (SAB Spring 2022); Very Vanilla, Pear Pizzazz & So Saffron CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Daffodil Delight & Old Olive Blends Markers; Daffodil, Stitched Shapes (retired) & Ornate Frames Dies; Artisan Pearls (retired); #AYSI270. Such a lovely pic for this week's Easter theme at As You See It #246 - yum! So, I love me a chocolate bunny, and yes, I ADORE marshmallow chicks, I can not tell a lie, lol, but I decided to reflect a bit on a different meaning for the holiday. Yes, we know so much more this year than we did this time last year, and we're finally getting closer to being able to gather together a bit more, but I'll miss being with my church family for the second year in a row - such a time of celebration for us! I know we'll get there - this is the Easter of hope for me... Itty Bitty Greetings & Hold on to Hope (retired 2020) Stamp Sets; Playing With Patterns DSP; Basic White, Pear Pizzazz & Early Espresso CS; Crumb Cake & Early Espresso Inks; Old Olive & Daffodil Delight Stamp-n-Write Markers; Word Window Punch (retired); Cross of Hope Dies; #AYSI246. Fusion has a lovely match-up for us today called "Easter Eggs" - love this country look! Every time I see an Easter theme, I think I'll have to go through my retired shelves for something good - which I love to do, don't get me wrong, lol. But I keep getting reminded - Arrange a Wreath has Easter accessories, too, for a cute Easter wreath! So I finally did one today. I couldn't resist matching it with this fun DSP sheet from Playing With Patterns, I love all the colors! So I did up all my eggs to match. AT the last second, I realized I could fit in a little leaf ring for my wreath, too - yay! My proportions might be a little wonky, but I think I actually worked both sides of the Fusion today! Arrange a Wreath Stamp Set; Playing With Patterns DSP; Basic White, Night of Navy & Soft Sea Foam CS; Night of Navy, Calypso Coral, Purple Posy, Crushed Curry & Coastal Cabana Inks; Wreath Builder Dies; Playing With Patterns Resin Dots; #FusionEasterEggs. Perfect timing - Inspire Create Challenge #066 has an Easter challenge for us this week! I ended up doing a blend of old and new for this one - I don't have much that's current in the way of Easter sets, and the classic goodies I do have still have a hold on my heart, lol. Take Chocolate Bunny - he's just too yummy and too sweet to give up! And Basket Bunch has so many fun shapes and dies - I use it for more that Easter, really! And look at this sweet sentiment hiding in our old Suite Sentiments set - perfect! I added some pretty paper and fun die shapes and I was all set! Hope your Easter was truly blessed! Chocolate Bunny (2010), Basket Bunch (2017) & Suite Sentiments (2017) Stamp Sets (all retired); Best Dressed DSP; Whisper White, Purple Posy & Pear Pizzazz CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Early Espresso Inks; Blender Pen; Daffodil Delight & Old Olive Blends Markers; Basket Builder (retired), Stitched So Sweetly & Rectangle Stitched Dies; So Saffron Candy Dots; #ICC066. I hope you like our fresh Spring colors this week at Sunday Stamps #227 - I sure do! I decided to go back to my 2017 Basket Bunch bundle for this one - so many little pieces to play with and arrange - I tried to hold myself back a little for you, lol. A simple basket with Spring-y eggs and a sweet bunny were all we needed! So glad we have our Blends back for coloring! I can't wait to see what YOU do with these fun colors - see you over at the challenge! Basket Bunch Stamp Set (retired 2017); Whisper White & Night of Navy CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Pear Pizzazz Inks; Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Night of Navy, Mango Melody & Petal Pink Blends Markers; Basket Bunch Dies; #SSC227. So how about those peeps?? 'Tis the season! My little secret vice (if I still ate sugar - whew!) is actually marshmallow peeps. Don't get me wrong, I do like the chicks, too, especially when they're dipped in chocolate on the bottom - that's the only king I like fresh! The best way is to actually rip open the package a little and let them dry out just a tad, so all the sugar coating is nice and crunchy - you can practically FEEL your teeth rotting in your head!! Anyway, I also like the marshmallow bunnies, and that they come in all the fun colors. Today I made them in all our new brights - the NEW SU! rainbow, lol. Maybe I should make a peep wreath since I don't eat them anymore, so I can at least have them around, lol. The javalinas would LOVE that! Basket Bunch Stamp Set (retired 2017); Whisper White, Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay & Gorgeous Grape CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Basket Builder Framelits; Gingham Gala Sequins; #RRCB108. Oo, fun bottom-heavy sketch at this week's Case This Sketch#264! I think I'll add in Global Design Project #131's Easter theme, too! So, my avid readers may have noticed something about my lack of Easter cards this year. Don't tell anyone, but I didn't get ANY of the Easter sets this year {GASP!} Eh, they just didn't grab me, though really, last year's awesome Basket Bunch is pretty hard to beat. So, since I was going for something retired ANYWAY, I went even further back to this simple and elegant set from 2012, Take Care. I love playing with the pretty branch and nest, and the simple "Blessings" can be used in so many ways. I figure the little eggs in the nest are perfect for Easter! Take Care Stamp Set (retired-2012); Crumb Cake, Pool Party & Whisper White CS; Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake & Pool Party Inks; Chocolate Chip & Old Olive Markers; Woodland EF; Pool Party Sequins; #CTS264; #GDP131. Fusion has a lovely Spring Wreath Inspired challenge combo for us this week - I can't wait to get out my Easter decor, lol! Once again I decided to go pretty literal on this combo, lol - I created a pretty vine-y wreath with my Swirly Scribble Thinlits, and added my Spring flower elements with Beautiful Bouquet. So much fun! These colors are inspired by my Easter Wreath for the front door here - it's in the form of a wire Easter Basket, filled with pretty pink and yellow flowers, and a few pastel Easter eggs. It's almost bunny time! Beautiful Bouquet & Circle of Spring (retired) Stamp Sets; Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Crumb Cake & Old Olive CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Daffodil Delight, Pink Pirouette & Calypso Coral Inks; Swirly Scribbles Thinlits; Bouquet Bunch Framelits; Flirty Flamingo Enamel Shapes; Layered Leaves DEF; #FusionSpringWreath. Fusion Card Challenge has a beautiful Easter combo for us this week! Fun! I'd say Paper Players #338 bunny theme will go along perfectly! And of course, where there's bunnies, there's Basket Bunch, so I'll add in What Would You Stamp #110's Basket Bunch challenge, too! So, whew, I feel like I need to confess: I totally just finished an Easter class pretty much based on this stamp set, and I'm starting to run down a little bit on bunny overload, lol! I focused on the chocolate bunny stamp, which was one I did NOT use for class, and because I have that on the brain since I just made my World Market run for the family Easter goodies, lol. Ours are all sparkly, too, so I consider this a little snapshot of my neighborhood World Market! Fittingly, I hauled the kitchen sink on this baby! Basket Bunch & Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Sets; Succulent Garden DSP; Glimmer Asst Pack (SAB); Whisper White & Tip Top Taupe CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake & Tip Top Taupe Inks; So Saffron, Mint Macaron & Blushing Bride Markers; Decorative Dots EF (retired); Lg & Small Oval Punches; Basket Builder Framelits; Fancy Frost Sequins; #FCCEaster; #TPP338; #WWYS110. I'm so excited about the shaker challenge over at Stamp Ink Paper #90 - good times! I'm adding in this lovely sketch from Try Stampin' on Tuesday #313, too! So, you know as soon as I saw those ovals on the sketch I was going for Easter eggs, right? I almost did three large eggs, but then I switched to one "special" shaker plus some baskets, so I could play with the framelits even MORE, lol. Let's just say we could never do this card in a class, lol, but I sure had a good time! I think my fave thing about these framelits (besides the "grass") is the strip of eggs - I can cut out 5 different eggs at once! Brilliant! Basket Bunch & Banners For You Stamp Sets; Succulent Garden DSP; Whisper White, Watermelon Wonder, Crumb Cake & Mint Macaron CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Early Espresso Inks; Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron & Peekaboo Peach Markers; Layering Ovals, Basket Builder & Bunch of Banners Framelits; Sprinkles Embellishments; #SIP90; #TSOT313.
