So here's how long my hair is, parted from the front... |

Braided |
|
I made two braids that hang at my center back. |
|
|

Tying on the Tape |
|
I started taping the left side braid first, so I tie the tape through the top of the left side braid. |

Starting to Stitch |
|
I pull the left braid over to the right side of my head and start to "sew" it to my head. |

Continuing to Stitch |
|
I keep on stitching, winding the braid around the back of my crown as I go. |

Picking up the 2nd Braid |
|
As soon as most of the left braid is sewn on, I pick up the right braid, pull it to the left, and stitch that braid going in the other direction. I wind the 2nd braid around the outside of the first. |
