Parted Front

So here's how long my hair is, parted from the front...

Parted Back

...and from the back.

Braided

I made two braids that hang at my center back.

Tying on the Tape

I started taping the left side braid first, so I tie the tape through the top of the left side braid.

Starting to Stitch

I pull the left braid over to the right side of my head and start to "sew" it to my head.

Continuing to Stitch

I keep on stitching, winding the braid around the back of my crown as I go.

Picking up the 2nd Braid

As soon as most of the left braid is sewn on, I pick up the right braid, pull it to the left, and stitch that braid going in the other direction. I wind the 2nd braid around the outside of the first.

Completed Back

Here's the completed stitching from the back.

Completed Side

Here's the taping from the side. I did this one a little lower down, but it's not as hard to keep the proportions right as I thought it would be.
