Shoes

5-4-05:  Yay!  My shoes came!  They're so awesome!  I might have to try them out at an event this weekend...  Anyway, here they are, and Nativearth even included a second set of laces in the accent color...

2-22-05:  Whew, I almost forgot to say that I went ahead and ordered a pair of poulaines from Nativearth Footwear for this ensemble.  I have a pair of their slashed Lady Court Slippers, and I love them, so I decided to take the easy route and have them make the shoes for this outfit, too.  I've asked for them to be done in a turn-shoe style, with leather soles, to be as period yet sturdy as possible.  I plan on either making or buying a pair of hinged pattens to wear with them in yukky weather.  I can't wait til they're done!  Oh, and they're lined with a nice fuzzy fleece on the inside sole, should very comfy...  One day I'll make my own turn shoes, but that might be a while...
